He's injured. - J35Bacher
I know. He would've have been called up if he wasn't. I guess this is going to be a washed out year for him. |

Read has no value at all at this point. I doubt they could get a 7th for him at this point. Filppula will get you something at the deadline with 50% retention, likely a late 2nd from a contender looking for an upgrade at 3C. - BiggE
I see a conditional pick for Filppula. Something like a 4th but goes to a 2nd depending on how far the team goes. Kind of like the Kimmo deal with Chicago. Maybe they just get a 2nd if the retain salary like you said.
I do see Weal as someone that cold be moved depending on the offer. |

I think nolan would have to take a step forward for them to trade filp at this point. Than you recall vecchione.
Read I think someone could want for a bag of pucks. And I think the flyers would accommodate he's been a good soldier for us. |

And the top 5 pick moves a step closer.
If you think Ghost makes mistakes defensively, wait until you see Brennan in action! - BiggE
Great. I have tickets for the Toronto game next Tuesday, which I'm almost regretting having purchased. It'll be fascinating to see which players are still ambulatory by this time next week. |

Schenn with the hat trick last night. I know I know... Tarasenko & Schwartz....
I wonder why St. Louis didn't hold onto their first round picks and just play Lehtera on that line. - PLindbergh31
I am not knocking Schenn. He deserves the kudos. Just will point out that last night he broke out of a five-game pointless streak. He had run into a string of tight-checking teams and tough matchups and didn't do too well. Last night, Blues played team ranked 24th in GAA. |

I think if they are well out of it at the deadline, they'll move Flip irregardless of how Patrick is playing and give Vecchs a look.

Yup. Why take a guy at the draft when you know he will be injured when you need him four years and five months later? |

I think I read a quote somewhere from Schenn saying that the Flyers bounced him back and forth between wing and center and he never felt comfortable.
I guess water under the bridge at this point. Hopefully Frost is legit. The first rounder from the Blues this year is going to be likely in the last 5 picks of the round. |

I think Bill is unaware that in Inuit, Schenn means "Stanley Cup 2018".
At least, that is what some posters in here say.

Weal may have some value, hard to say. He needs to play better and for a decent length of time. He also still has another year on his deal with a 1.75 million cap hit.

All you need to know about Flyers mismanagement is that they traded Schenn straight up for Filppula, drafted Patrick instead of Nikko Heesher, and picked a coach out of college who'd never won anything.
Oh yeah... they traded Carter to the Kings where he won 2 Cups.. forgot about that one. |

You trade filipula no matter what. No reason at all not too. eat half money and probably get a good asset in return. |

Reached for a cup of coffee in the locker room, knocked it over onto Raffl who jumped from being burned. Raffl's jumping caused a stick rack to topple over which sent a frightened mouse scurrying across the floor. Ghost saw the mouse, screamed and his scream caused the trainer to lose the grip on the skate he was sharpening. The skate flew across the room and decapitated Neuvirth.
He's now day to day with an LBI.

His value is hard to gauge. People had interest in the free agent market for him. I think you'd have to find a team who loves his game and they could over pay. But as of now I don't see value in trading him |
