2 mid to low 1st rd picks that you hope and pray become schenn. You hear 2 - 1st rd picks and get all giddy, though not so sure its as great as the perception.

It is the flyers organizations job to develop and allow the players to reach their maximum potential. Not doing so with Schenn is disturbing. If they can't maximize the potential of players they will not be very good. See oilers of the last decade pre mcdavid. Perhaps playing Schenn on the fifth line during preseason two years ago was not a good idea. Whatever. It is the flyers loss.

My point wasn't about Weal specifically. My point was two teams in different places. the Flyers in a rebuild and the Blues in a position to go for it so willing to give up 2 firsts.

Personally I liked Schenn. I wasn't one of the trade Schenn people. I get the move tho. Time will tell if it ends up being a good trade or not
