They will always be with the club in one capacity or another. Who else have we had play their entire career in a Canucks uniform?

Thanks Carol,

Carolina was one of the games I was looking forward to watching this year, as I was buying into their potential to turn the corner. I really like what they have built over there

Can't wait for the HockeyBuzz Party Bus to take us down to see the Canucks play the Seattle Amazons.
We'll pay for RedMile's first game so that he can see his old team.

Great blog Carol,thanks.

If the Canucks lose tonight what does this really say about the team? They have shown they can play above their standing by beating top seeded teams but can't seem to rise to beat the teams they should beat, and especially at home.

- Makita

I expect them to play at, or below the level of their opponents the majority of the games this season. The bigger the game, the more amped the kids will be IMO, so I expect them to be a little flat to start and we'll see if they can prevent the hole from getting too big to come back from tonight

If it was Carolina that moved to Seattle, I'd jump aboard that bandwagon. Too bad the Flames moving gives us all another team with questionable goaltending into our backyards

Kind of a regular Canuck thing...we make backup and third string Goalies look great...make players from the waiver wire or press box players look like Crosby. Should be back to the same old stuff. 4-1 Canes...Marky pulled.

They've played far better than their record indicates. Metro division is a bloodbath. I'd say they're a far better team than they have been in a long time, but haven't gotten the results yet. They'll come at some point, here.

Their defensive stats are about what I expect, but offensively I am shocked at them sitting in the bottom 4 or so teams. I think there is still time for them to figure it out (and others in the Metro to falter), but that playoff race will be interesting to watch

Is it possible that DiPietro and Gajdovich are getting more World Junior attention than Kole Lind because they're playing for Eastern teams?

The virus that causes mono is transmitted through saliva, so you can get it through kissing, but you can also be exposed through a cough or sneeze, or by sharing a glass or food utensils with someone who has mono. However, mononucleosis isn't as contagious as some infections, such as the common cold. - Mayo Clinic

I wanted to watch them but I had my doubts they were ready. Same as Arizona. Too soon, too early.

Naa, give him another shot. He was fun to watch!

He was fun to watch but I would rather have Kane in the locker room. hard pass.
