How about Goals Per Game! BB has played 3 less at least.

Boeser has the highest PPG of all rookies.

I also like he didn't do a flyby after he shot it, he tracked the puck and got a second shot off.

Too early for WJC predictions?

I think it's Finland and Sweden the favorites this year, they both have really strong and deep defence for a junior team and some really prolific forwards.... Pettersson

Obviously I'm pulling for Canada, but they are a younger team without any real big standouts. A big tournament Voleno could put him in the top 5, same with Merkeley and ty smith into the top 10. USA has tkschuk up the middle and wilde/hughes.... could be goos but not as deep.

Finland wins gold. Heponiemi MVP(told you we should have pick Heponiemi )

Heponiemi is an absolute treat to watch here in Swift Current. He just makes something out of nothing every time he touches the puck. He tries things that defenses don't even bother to cover because they're ridiculous and yet he makes them work.

Oh, and the kid can absolutely snipe when he gets a little space.

I got him in the third round of my keeper league last year after watching come to Victoria a bunch and then hearing he a had a growth spurt last year before the combine.

Is he looking a bit bigger this year, I haven't seen yet.

A bit, but mostly just stronger. He doesn't get hit as much as he did in his first year and is able to hold on to the puck a lot better.

Doubt he needs it, but hoping I get to watch him for at least one more year in Junior.

How many injuries do the Comets have! I goggled and couldn't find the entire injury report.
Philip Holm, Evan McEneny are both out. Anton Cederholm and Mackenzie Stewart played last game.

Archibald has only played 9 games the entire season? What's wrong with him?
Wacey Hamilton with 6 games played.

Jordan Subban didn't play last game either.

Cole Cassels should probably go to Europe.

Archibald has a facial injury, orbital bone I believe.

THANK YOU! Maybe that's why Utica isn't doing as well as we thought.

A great opportunity to evaluate the depth, in a supposed playoff run. We'll see.

ya he measured in at 6 feet at the combine, that's why I drafted him because watching him last winter and even looking online he wasn't that tall.

A loss tonight by the flames will put you guys in a strong playoff position
- Tumbleweed

We’ll be hoping both teams lose tonight in a bizarre 0-0 game that the NHL deems not to have been a tie because they played so poorly... 👍 💩

BEST GAME

JV18 played nearly 15 minutes.
He had four shots.
He had three hits.

It didn’t always look, uh, pretty or, well, orthodox. He can be an odd player to follow around the ice.

But that’s the way it goes sometimes with JV18. poop just happens..

What I do know is that he was in the mix a lot tonight. He is playing more. And playing more is helping him.

Green sees how his speed can help this team even when the, uh, hockey sense isn’t shining.

He is creating opportunities. I’m hesitant to call them scoring chances quite yet.
It will come.

When it does, I’m telling your right now, look out.

This is what Botch had to say about JV's game last night. I would agree fully with what he is saying.

- manvanfan

The last time I watched him specifically I couldn’t tell what position he was playing, he was literally all over the ice, in both zones. Reminded me of Atom hockey where they all just follow the puck around the ice. Maybe that’s Greeners system when Virtsey is on the ice though...
