If DP can find consistency in his game, i like him defensively more than i like both stecher and hutton. The problem is, all 3 players show the skillset of a AHL defenseman at times.

I agree. DP shows glimpses or being an excellent 3rd pairing, but consistency is key.

Nah... believe you don't like his style something about how he doesn't look smooth probably. I get the awkwardness to his flow at times but young power forwards tend to look that way. Don't you think he's learning out there?

I dont quite know what it is. Sometimes he looks like he is hesitant/lacking confidence and other times he looks nonchalant/disconnected. If its the confidence then he needs to work through it, if he's breaking focus then press box

In general yes that tool of sitting out has been used and JV did sit too. Used more for perspective on effort and determination. Watching video probably aids your point more. So is JV not learning playing now?

Being sat doesn't have to do with just effort or determination. There are many many other little things. He's probably learning but the point is why only use one "tool"? Learning happens in different ways.

I started assuming so a few years ago. They are often still wearing their gloves during the interview and that other camera angle shows players tossing them to the trainers to put on the dryer before they go into the room

Last game they broke the SO with 2:37 left. Today i think they will break it with around 1:30 left.
