I hadn't been paying attention to Schenn for a bit. I was looking at Jakes point total in the standings and was surprised to see Schenn at 30 points and thought, "he had 30 about a week ago" Only to then find a reference to his "5 game pointless streak"!

That sounds more like the Schenn we know, streaky scorer and less then a defensive stalwart!
I always liked him as a player. He played his best most consistent hockey when used on the wing with Coots. Seems like Coots has that affect on everybody.

I had the partial ticket plan for the Panthers last year so I saw a good bit of him. He has some skills. Didn't really matter where he played he scored. I'm glad things are going well for him in Vegas. You never know when a guy bursts out of the pack all of a sudden if it is a fluke. It may be best for him if he gets traded to a true contender at the deadline. He gets a shot at a possible cup run and can sign anywhere as an UFA.

BTW, the (frank)ing Panthers really have sucked the last two years and really have pissed me off. Lured me in with the Atlantic Div Champ thing and then won one out of eleven (frank)ing games I had tickets for last year. I did see Jagr pass Messier for second overall in points so that was nice. Jags is great, love that guy!
