I haven't the slightest clue as to the validity of this article and/or where they got their information from, but here you go:

I don’t think TB looked that much better than the Isles as far as their offense and setting up plays. I mean, in the first period, yeah…it took the Isles a little bit to get into the game. The difference, though, was that team is much better at this whole defense thing than the Isles. There were times the Isles got them crossed up or dazzled them with some moves, but they didn’t get mesmerized nearly as much as the Isles’ D. If you make two passes in the Isles’ zone, it seems like the entire team just gets confused and horribly out of position. Doesn’t help that they turn the puck over an awful lot exiting the zone, too.

I figured they get killed last night and they did. It happens to every team just move ahead to Pittsburgh.

just to give a sense of how bad Greiss has been this year:

JF Berube (16-17): 14 GP, 527 Min, .889 SV% (3.42 GAA)
Thomas Greiss (17-18): 14 GP, 792 Min, .890 SV% (3.79 GAA)

So, yeah. Pretty bad.

Remember when some thought he was a starting G bc of his stellar yr & help get into 2nd rd, ummmmm

- Ur Not Me

The starts all happened but take out the 4 blowouts and he's been good in other games. Last night the d was terrible on a few goals and others like rebound off boards and 5th goal right to bolts so not much he can do. Yes he's been bad in those games but good in others. He certainly needs to figure it out if this team wants to go anywhere. Halak for that matter as well

Yup beat the pens and keep on going tough game on a back to back even if the goalie opts to play and the team decides d is necessary

Encouraging news

That, or the ESD award announcement will come at an opportune time for New York’s politically ambitious Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Chances we end up playing in the “Mario Cuomo Arena”? 100%

I hope the 1980 arena collapses while you are in it and everybody gets out unscathed except you

Not unless Mario Cuomo is sponsoring it. I don't think there is an arena/stadium/etc... out there anymore that doesn't have a corporate name.

Much more likely that we are playing at the Northwell Center

Larry Brooks mentioned a while back Al Arbour Arena. That would be fine with me.

I think the days of arena names like that are long-gone. If we have a freakin' Little Caesar's Arena, I doubt we're ever getting an Al Arbour Memorial Coliseum

It was awesome. First time up there and I loved it. He also scored a goal in the arena the US won gold in so that was pretty neat
