No I didn't. All I said was who knows and pointed out that nobody knows because we don't. That was it. Next thing you know you're talking about Pelech, Pulock, what better goaltenders are available, etc. That's exactly what happened.
- Cptmjl

You were saying how we don't know what's available and I compared it to we don't know the reason pulock sits but where as we use that argument for pulock you used it for the goalies because we don't know we just speculate. From there i switched topics to pelach should be playing over pulock and then you went on about how I was trying to make you mad don't care it's hockeybuzz you really can't get mad at it. Once you said better upgrades could be made I asked who you thought was a possibility and said teams need to be out of it not in direct competition ect. And asked you for an answer which you won't even attempt. Im nsot deflectong anything im simply asking a question.

i am asking you a simple question, what goalie out there is an upgrade to the two we have? would that team move that goalie if they are in a playoff position? why would you trade for a backup to one of our current keepers if they cant play well now? they need a starter if they are going to improve the position so what team has a goalie thats their backup thats better than our two goalies? when is the last time a goalie has been traded mid season? it rarely happens because if a teams starter is hurt they need a dependable back up and why most all goalie moves are made in the off season. I dont care what your opinion on pulock is it doesnt matter its what the coaches think and clearly its not very good. he has a great shot but what else? pelach makes mistakes but is better defensively and this team can already score what they need is to stop the other team from scoring. also we all have opinions on here its not some challenge to you or a fight so relax. maybe people ask you questions to your statements because this isnt fantasy hockey where players are traded jut because and we would like to know who you suggest and why and if its even plausible

From the last page;
First off how is Pulock even relevant to this conversation? You bought him up obviously to try and rattle my cage like I give a (frank)
Two totally different debates with zero in common and pretty obvious an attempt to misdirect or somehow piss me off which is funny. Again, I'm not the defender of Pulock if you don't see the positive in actually developing a prospect that's fine by me I can care less.
As for the rest of your questions I told you to simply read my post which you obviously didn't. You're just yammering away to try and prove some nonscenial point. I said you never know who will become available through a season which you dont. Maybe a team falls out of contention? Maybe a goaltender under performs with a good resume? Maybe a rookie out performs a veteran and he becomes expendable? It's literally endless and we've all seen it over the course of a season. How about this. How about we make a bet that a goaltender becomes available before seasons end that is better than both Greiss and Halak? What do you say?

As far as Pelech goes he's been pretty bad for a while now on our 2nd pairing of all places and again wtf does this have to do with anything?
Listen, I know you're a Snow fan and defend and point out every little minute thing that can somehow been misconstrued into a positive but saying Lehner and Johnson are available so there's no options potentially for trades ever is borderline laughable
Also, you're smart enough to know this you just want to argue to be right which you know you arent

I never said better upgrades could be made
I said who knows maybe someone will become available who may be an upgrade and just because Lehner and Johnson are available means nothing
Funniest thing about all of this? I don't even (frank)ing care if Snow trades for a goaltender I jist said who knows if one will become available? That's it

Jesus I'm done with this.

That was awesome totally spiraled out of control here's where it all went

Well that seals it there's no goaltenders available besides Johnson and Lehner

I mean come on man none of us have a clue what's available and what's not.
- Cptmjl

yea what team has 2 quality keepers out there? the way the standings are who's going to trade their starter for anything? teams with quality starters dont move them in case of injury (see pens back to back cups with two keepers). you need a goalie to be a free agent to land a good one and on that note soderstroms numbers suck so far this year in Sweden

I think you thought i was posing this to you, it was more of a general question of who has 2 good goalies and would move one. From here it went away sideways and then I asked you specifically.. god i (frank)ing hate old people also a comma after Yea, what team might have made it better. I was actually agreeing when I said yea then asking the question but woth out a comma it reads like a challenge and that's why grammar is so important

I feel Islanders will win tonight. Especially if Cappy has any input for Florida to make it easier.

I dont feel as confident against Tampa tomorrow. Tampa was not happy they lost to us and will come for us hard. I just dont see isles matching the intensity. Seems like we still come into most games way too lax.

As for Defense, Im fine with Leddy, DeHaan jumping in b/c they can skate and get back. Boychuk should just stay back on defense.

Bad Skaters dont backcheck well. Ask John Tavares.

Blumenfeld Development Group withdraws Belmont bid proposal citing "extraordinary requirements” from the state ESD that “appear to create a selection process that has been predetermined. Down to @nyislanders and @nycfc

So it's down to the Islanders and a soccer team, that has outright said that Belmont is far from their first choice for a new stadium.

I would imagine that if it is truly a "predetermined" decision, it probably isn't for a soccer team that doesn't want to play outside of NYC limits

No way you can give it to a soccer team. Sorry for any soccer fans. I like watching the World cup and that's about it.

I like the selection process seems to be predetermined part. Like (hopefully) the islanders already won and it's a foregone conclusion.

I love soccer, but NYCFC has literally said that Belmont is not their first choice. I don't believe they'll be a bigger draw for the area than the Islanders and a mixed-use indoor arena. A soccer stadium can't really be used if the weather is crappy and/or cold. Isles arena can host concerts and events year-round.

Not celebrating yet, but logic tells me things are looking good for the Isles.
