I love when the NHL or a NHL insider tweets something about Barzal or show a gif of any of his numerous insane moves all the Canuck fans get butt hurt that they're not talking about Boesner - Vukota
well that because hes good but shoots and barzal makes insane moves and makes others better |

That's why getting two points against FLA was imperative last night. I have no doubt that TBL could dust them tonight, so leaving Florida with a wash is OK. If they can get it to OT I'll be happy leaving there with 3 out of 4 possible points. - eichiefs9
yea with the 8 games in 14 days against some tough opponents last night was almost a must especially considering no one loses in the metro well except for philly |

Some of those comments are gold! I love this one:
"I would of fired Peter Chiarelli right after that shift."

Getting back to defensemen...I'd take a stab at acquiring Brodin from MIN too.
Minny is teetering on the brink of the 2nd WC spot, with CHI, CGY, and ANA looming directly behind them. If they are out of it around the trade deadline, they might be happy to alleviate some of their cap issues for picks/prospects. |

All I want for Christmas is the Islanders to be in first place while the Sabres and Rags are at the bottom during this game in queens. I want Betteman to look like as big an idiot as possible during that game. |

know I posted this but this is incredible
Here’s a look at the top NHL goal scorers from Nov. 23, 2016 through today.
1. Nikita Kucherov, 50 goals
2. Anders Lee, 49 goals
3. Auston Matthews, 47 goals
T4. Filip Forsberg, 44 goals
T4. Vladimir Tarasenko, 44 goals
T4. Alex Ovechkin, 44 goals
T4. Sidney Crosby, 44 goals
8. Brad Marchand, 42 goals
T9. Evander Kane, 40 goals
T9. John Tavares, 40 goals - Upstate_isles
I saw this post on twitter yesterday and ended up asking him how many games this happened to be for Anders Lee since that date. It's 89 games if anyone is curious. That's a 45 goal pace @ 82 games. Pretty damn impressive.

Btw I usually will buy some random player shirts of players that I like around the league. I've owned an Arizona Ekman-Larsson shirt for about 3-4 years now. Most people didn't understand why I wore it or even really knew who the (frank) he was. All this trade talk about him is seriously getting me aroused. I've had a total man crush on him forever.
P.S. Almost every shirt I've bought that player has ended up on the Rangers...
Minnesota - Gaborik
Islanders - Grabner
Blues - Shattenkirk
Coyotes - Please god no.
But don't worry, once I realized this pattern I immediately went and sought out a Bruno Gervais jersey!! |

He is on pace for slightly less then 40 points which is pretty decent for a dman. I just don't see the so called awful side that you guys see. Playing almost 20 minutes a night against top 6 talent and I feel is holding his own. He might not be in their future don't know that for sure but I could think of 3 or so Dman much worse then him right now. - Vukota
I’m with you Mick. Plays PK and PP too. |

"Hey Matt, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but unfortunately we're going to have to send you down to the AHL"
Oh wow, really? Listen I totally understand. At least Rochester isn't far from here, I'll still get time to see the wife and kids

#Sabres loaned Matt Moulson to #LAKings' AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, because they didn't want to take away from young forwards' ice time with Rochester Americans.

Can you get a Tarasenko jersey? - mdw7413
He bought the McIlrath one first, unfortunately it turned out to be made in Myanmar and fell apart pretty quickly. Makes for a good oil rag now though. |

Not only do they send him to the AHL, but they bypass their own team and loan him to a team on the other side of the (frank)ing country. Oh and there's another massive wildfire raging near LA. |

That's a pretty poopty way to treat a player. It's not his fault they singed him to a bad contract. |
