It's people that put their unbridled faith in the orginization's developmental skills.
All kidding aside I don't understand it either. First few games this season he was lost and now he's a legitimate contributor and you can see the kid has hands and the ability to rush the puck as well as his obvious shot (105mph). He's developing. It's plain as day. That's what you do with prospects it's the whoke point of rebuilding through the draft. Mind boggling how some don't grasp this. - Cptmjl
You would think with all the prospects this team ruined that fans would want a better look from Pulock and would not want him stuck in the pressbox? |

He is on pace for slightly less then 40 points which is pretty decent for a dman. I just don't see the so called awful side that you guys see. Playing almost 20 minutes a night against top 6 talent and I feel is holding his own. He might not be in their future don't know that for sure but I could think of 3 or so Dman much worse then him right now. - Vukota
35, with zero goals. He's got 10 assists and 1/3 of them came in a blowout win against the worst team in the league, back in October.
Maybe awful is a slight stretch, but I really do not think he's good at all. I've seen a ton of questionable passes in his own end that were entirely unnecessary. |

De Haan is not necessarily gone unless there is a team that wants him as a top pair d man. I still think he is on a winning team here and assured a good contract.
Halak is proven he can go on a streak and this is a good point of the season to settle on a dominant goalie and starting 6 on d. These guys need to play steady if they want to do a run. Though tonight is b to b and Greiss won in Tampa last time but didn't look hungry last Friday. |

I'm not just talking Garth Vukota. Many on Milbury's watch and I know lousy ownership was a factor. |

You can literally say that about 90% of this team |

JHS has been real solid the last 5-8 games or so. I just wish he would shoot more |

Occasionally, yeah. You can say it about most players in the NHL too. But I notice it enough with Pelech that I think he stinks.
Listen, I didn't wake up one day with some vendetta against Pelech. I want him to succeed. But I just don't see it when I watch him play. It's entirely possible I'm wildly off the mark, but I think he's a bottom pairing guy, at best. |

honestly mayfield has played very well and is now sitting so who knows. Dehhan is gone as they wont be able to pay him what hes going to command and he has turned into a solid top 4 nhl d man |

I can say the same for Pulock but Pulock has more obvious upside than Pelech. I think we all can name 3 defenseman worse than 3 other defenseman on our team |

Of course but Pelech isn't here for his offense, Pulock is all about offense and to be honest he hasn't shown much on the offensive side except for a few nice rushes here and there |

I think he's gun-shy because he knows if he gets torched defensively Dougie is sending him to the press box. I think as his defensive skill stabilizes, the offense will follow.
I also wouldn't be all the surprised if they use him as trade bait either. Depending on who it was, I'd probably be fine with that. I'd dangle him (and other assets) for OEL all day long. |

Well hes developing. First they wanted him to work on his defensive game which was well publicized. Now Weight wants him to focus on his offensive game which we're seeing since he started playing again. He'll make his mistakes all part of the process can't develop watching from the stands. Pelech to me is like hickey. What you see is what you get. Maybe I'm wrong and he'll turn into something but if we're keeping Pelech for his defensive game maybe we should look into getting another top 4. |

He has some moves but he doesnt shoot when he should and tends to hit the center of the bullseye on the goalies chest |
