All kidding aside I don't understand it either. First few games this season he was lost and now he's a legitimate contributor and you can see the kid has hands and the ability to rush the puck as well as his obvious shot (105mph). He's developing. It's plain as day. That's what you do with prospects it's the whoke point of rebuilding through the draft. Mind boggling how some don't grasp this.

He is on pace for slightly less then 40 points which is pretty decent for a dman. I just don't see the so called awful side that you guys see. Playing almost 20 minutes a night against top 6 talent and I feel is holding his own. He might not be in their future don't know that for sure but I could think of 3 or so Dman much worse then him right now.

De Haan is not necessarily gone unless there is a team that wants him as a top pair d man. I still think he is on a winning team here and assured a good contract.

Halak is proven he can go on a streak and this is a good point of the season to settle on a dominant goalie and starting 6 on d. These guys need to play steady if they want to do a run. Though tonight is b to b and Greiss won in Tampa last time but didn't look hungry last Friday.

Listen, I didn't wake up one day with some vendetta against Pelech. I want him to succeed. But I just don't see it when I watch him play. It's entirely possible I'm wildly off the mark, but I think he's a bottom pairing guy, at best.

honestly mayfield has played very well and is now sitting so who knows. Dehhan is gone as they wont be able to pay him what hes going to command and he has turned into a solid top 4 nhl d man

I also wouldn't be all the surprised if they use him as trade bait either. Depending on who it was, I'd probably be fine with that. I'd dangle him (and other assets) for OEL all day long.
