Yeah I read it on TSN

At this point what could it hurt?

He hasn't been good this year. Hence why he couldn't even crack the Habs shytty d.
Now in less than a week when Larsson comes back we have to waive one of Auvitu, Gryba or Davidson. Then when Sek is back in a week to two we then have to waive another of the three. I doubt Gryba gets waived simply because he's big and a righty. So to me it looks like Auvitu gets waived when Larsson is back then Davidson when Sek is back. Even if he does remain over Gryba as the 7th Dman it's inconsequential.

Change it to a Detroit second and you guys win the draft lottery with your native first and it’s a deal.
- RafiDRW

Nah man. I think it's fair.

Our 1st might end up in the 13-16 range (I hope we make the playoffs, but realistically, I don't think it will happen, doesn't mean that we won't compete though) whereas you guys seem like once you guys get out of the poop hole that your team created, you're probably going to be picking around the 9-12 range (don't think you guys will be making the playoffs though).

Your team definitely needs a young 2C center to form a tandem with Larkin and not to mention that DET's Top 6 winger depth is phenomenal so losing one of Tatar or Nyquist won't hurt as badly. Zetterberg could/would also shift to the left wing (his natural position I believe), thus giving Blashill more options. One thing to mention is that Tatar/Nyquist are capable of playing on the RW right? I believe that is their natural position?

I’d rather Davidson than Gryba, even if he did have a good game against the Flames.

As I mentioned the other day, he's among the leaders in a number of defensive categories (HDSC%, shot distance, shot attempts % among them) but has had really unlucky results (PDO in the low 90s iirc). He's a good bottom pairing player being dropped into our laps. At worst, he's a great #7 and better than Gryba.

Could also be due to how he was utilized (system set in place by the HC).

He was a great bottom pairing defender for us last year and he would definitely help us depth-wise.

All in all, he would definitely be an upgrade over what we currently have on the bottom pairing. If he does/gives us more than that, Hurray!

I haven’t the foggiest idea why, but your continued use of this utterance makes me want to punch you, and those dearest to you, right in the junk.
I’m not and will not ask you to stop, but I really had to get that off my chest.
