They don't, not at all. Out shot 15-8, they're lucky to just be down one. This team, at least so far, is showing no signs of coming out of this funk.

100 % I’d feel the same way....not sure what Provorov could do anything different. It’s not dirty at all...it’s physical hockey. An elbow to head would be dirty. A shoulder to a 5 ft 7 guy bent over isn’t one bit dirty.

That's not a fair comparison because the refs would have missed it. We'd have taken an undisciplined retaliation penalty and wed be down a Man.

Nah. Simmonds had a decent fight. Provy knocked Marchard out of the game with a high hit. You didn't miss anything else.

A replay in slow motion....to a 5 ft 7 guy...yes there’s contact but it’s shoulder to shoulder, then glances up to the head. Not sure how Provorov is supposed to do anything different.

No, it wasn't shoulder to shoulder, it was Provorov's shoulder directly into Marchand's head. It's a penalty. It's not malicious and I agree unavoidable once he goes for the hit but still a penalty.

The Flyers need to be a better neutral zone team. Boston is clogging it up forcing turnovers or dump ins with no speed behind it to forecheck, then transitioning the other way. Flyers need to win more neutral zone plays and do the same to them. Boston dictated play for most of the period.

I don't like the dirty plays Marchand has committed over his career but I don't want to see him hurt and I would trade anyone not named Provy or Patrick for him.
