The top line is LITERALLY the only bright spot of this team. Just seems strange to complain about that when there is so much else wrong.

More than anything, the lack of push back, fire, heart etc from anyone on this team not named Wayne Simmonds is appalling. FFS, has anyone even noticed Voracek today? Is he even playing? Also glad the players voted to put an "A" on Filppula's sweater. Glad he's such a great guy; be nice if he could just be a good player.

I'm not laying any of this on the kids, or on Elliott for that matter. Kids are going to make mistakes and Elliott has played well enough to win. It's the veterans who are making my stomach turn, just pathetic.

For the love of God, just bite the bullet and waive Lehtera and Weise. They are pathetic. Bring up Martel, who has pretty much done all he can at the AHL level and Vecchione and tell coach Zombie to put em in. This is just a (frank)ing disgrace.

I'm really glad they delayed the game for a minute to confirm an obvious call made on the ice. Great drama, I was on the edge of my seat for the first time this game. Thank you NHL.

I'd add Provorov to that list. Also despite some struggles both Hagg and Sanheim look like they're going to be pretty good players with Sanheim having a chance of being a really good player.

Agreed. They're one of the top five scoring line in the NHL this year.

They're getting absolutely nothing from the other lines, which to me, further magnifies the coaching decisions being made putting plugs in over guys like Leier and Martell.

I can't believe that this team is such a mess they might be out of it before Xmas. Blows my mind with how well they played early on.
