That's rough. They need to change the rule. Did not affect the goal at all.

I flat out give up on that call. There is absurd, and then that call is miles past that. It's true that Simmonds grazes Rask but it had absolutely nothing to do with the goal being scored. It's incidental contact. We see that all the time. Is the precedence now set that any contact whatsoever not matter how slight, is now goaltender interference? That is just not within the spirit of the rule or the spirit of the game. That call is embarrassing to the sport and to the league.

Exactly.

They might as well bring back the skate in the crease rule at this rate.

I'm going to find something better to do than watching the rest of this game

Right now it's a toss up between watching paint dry or giving myself a root canal

Wouldn’t matter....when things are going bad, it never goes your way. I dont think Rask would have seen it anyways...

I've seen this year Elliott has received much more significant contact on a goal and the challenge has been denied. I don't even know what the standard is anymore.

Every time I say, "that's the worst call I've ever seen", the zebras never cease to amaze me.

Rask could not have stopped that shot if he had a piece of plywood 71 inches by 47 inches covering the net. Simmons had naught to do with it. Ref who overturned the call has got to be a Leon Stickle relative.

When you watch the interference replay watch the mask of the goalie as he is contacted by Simmonds

That call is more embarrassing than the Flyers play and that's not easy to do right now.

This season is approaching the Season That Shall Be Named and that makes no sense to me as this Team, on paper, has more talent..

I was just going to say in a weird way that this play just directed all the ire of the fans away from them and onto the refs.
