Edit... It's my theory that he's trying to change his game. Trying not to get hit as much. I think it's pretty obvious. He used to get crushed on a nightly basis. I can't really think of any this season. He doesn't hold the puck nearly as long as he used to and has become a giveaway machine because of it.

its only been a few games But there is a lot to like about his game. He’s good at controlling the flow in his own zone and playing the puck. He has some swagger too.
