It's gotta be weird for him. Most elite players who go 1st/2nd in a draft understand they're likely going to a bottom-feeder or a team in the beginning of a rebuild. USUALLY, there are glimmers of hope for that team as they begin to build around said players, but there is just a hopeless feeling about this team.

Yes Muzza jumped Jarry with that record breaking year in the ahl & I think I read Jarry wasn't bad he just wasn't developing as quickly as Murray. You're right, Jarry I remember is supposed to be the tender with the higher ceiling (just Wow if that is true!). Can't have another 1a 1b problem on our hands this quick it's not healthy.

At the worst they should be a top-heavy bubble team with a defense that plays the solid & mediocre roller coaster.

They're just sad. You really have to feel for the Sabres fans. You look at a team like AZ; they're really bad, but you get the feeling on the verge of climbing out of the basement sometime in the next year or so.

Years ago I watched Murray stonewall a stacked spitfire squad in the ohl with Ryan Ellis actually I think knuckles was on our side 2. I said who the fvck is that goalie. After the draft I wasn't doing jumping jacks but when he hit WB I knew he was gonna b a keeper. Props to shero even tho he drafted dumo looks like he grabbed a couple tenders

Filip gustavsson. He's only 19, was taken 55th overall. He's still playing in Sweden. I forget the age rule with the AHL.
