I agree with Game man here, there's a few on here saying Reaves for a first - forget the out of town knuckleheads, but if those people want to remind us that a 1st is a 1st which of course it definitely is, then those same people have to say that there was more involved. A pick 20 spots later & another player.

I'll still defend the player as I feel that he's not getting used properly. But, yeah won't defend the trade as the type of player doesn't fit this team. The price also wasn't significant.

How great, NHL free game, it's Saturday & the Mrs has gone shopping & my mate doing some bathroom work for me just left! This was my whole point. Which is always missed by idiots claiming we traded a 1st for reaves. We didn't. We traded a 31st pick for a 51st pick and sund for Reaves. It's not at all the same as simply stating we traded a 1st (which sounds more like mcdavid than some random nobody that would have been a second round pick every other year) for knucklehead reaves.

I mean, with a dman as their coach? Scandella and Risto are good dmen. Bogosian is not slouch and the rest of the guys are serviceable. There are worse d-cores you could have.

It's not just the on ice product that is required to have success. This organisation has intended to be 1 of the worst for a long time, so changing the whole organisation from top to bottom is needed to have success in my opinion. You can't expect failure to breed success.
