It sounds (frank)ed but I really blame Darcy as much as TM
posted it before but the leafs had Kadri, JVR and Gardiner carried over from their rebuild
We had Myers, Stafford and Roy. We had to spend hella assets just to get guys the leafs already had. It really sheds light on just how pathetic that team was under both GM's - Sabresfan-365
Ok, but we had a boatload or assets acquired by Darcy as well.
I think all 6 of them have the wheels for his style of play....but they needed like all summer of doing nothing but working as a unit. Otherwise we get what we see now: learning on the fly. And its ugly. - feetontheair22
The wheels sure. The passing/smarts? like 1.5 of them half that.

Last two made it as third pair because they cost way less.

as many have pointed out (including you as well i think) selling is the easy part. Not taking blame away from TM just that it runs deeper than just him

Right, but as we saw with the Leafs, they were nothing with just Kadri, JVR etc.
The problem is that we picked the wrong guy in 2014, by like a country mile, and moved out an entire two lines of forwards.
I’m sorry, but this team is better today, and tomorrow without the WPG, Ottawa and Colorado deals.

How does ROR look like one of the best players in the NHL at the IIHF tourney last year? These guys should be good. I don’t know why they’re not. This is what you get for tanking. Thinking you’re gonna be able to push the Easy button to get good.

on those settings he is one of 3 good players on a line
on this team, he is more focused IMO on how to cover up for one of his winger's inevitable mistakes

Don’t have to watch penguins broadcast don’t give a (frank) what they said, he was coasting again saw it with my own eyes, from the goal line to our red line three Pitt players skated right by him...
A bunch of lazy players.... tired of hearing we have to play better.... something stinks in sabreland...we have a coach , gm, and owner not doing a (frank)ing thing about it.
32 games played ( including preseason) they have won 5 in regulation.... that my friends (frank)ing blows....
