Really impressive game against power house Preds best home team in NHL. Nothing was handed to Canucks they hung in there and played well enough to win.

New first line found legs with Goldy. He drew two Preds and set up BB for stand out finish. Bo powered in and set up BB who zipped one for the other goal they got.

I am pretty sure more then half the franchise is still the fancy stat type.

This game cost me my 2-2-2 record and about 4 spots in the draft lottery. I'll take being wrong in this case though.

Doesn't matter if the guy making the actual moves and has final say isn't one of them.

He gave away a guy who had 30 in goals in 75 games last year and is on pace for 35 goals this year just to protect 2 scrubs.

If a GM in a big market did that, he'd be getting ripped big time.

If the Sedins keep up with the pace they’re on.....they’ll be back next yr. I can’t wait to see this thread when they resign

I really don't think the fanbase is that fickle, they're fickle like every fanbase but I doubt people are thinking "playoffs!" after a couple of wins and then the same people thinking "omg Dahlin!" after a couple of losses.

It's more like either side of the fanbase gets louder when they're original thoughts on the team are looking better during that given time. You've got the anti-tank crowd(who think the team is decent) who gets louder after a couple of wins and the pro-tank(who think the team sucks) crowd who gets louder after losses.

Then eventually around January, one side gets proven wrong and casually jumps to the floating ship and pretends like nothing every happened.

I'm anti tank... i think this team sucks.
I don't want them to pull the plug on the season ala Edmonton. I want them to try, I 'd like a high draft pick if they lose but until then it's rather them try to win every game.

I won't be surprised if they resign for 1 more year at a discount rate. I also think the team would be better for it.
