Dany boy with his 1000th point, nice to see, not sure he gets in the HHOF but pretty impressive for both the Sedins. Henrik may be a second ballot inductee because of his Hart Trophy and Daniel maybe a third, fourth or fifth ballot inductee?

I won't be surprised if they resign for 1 more year at a discount rate. I also think the team would be better for it.

What if prospects show they are ready....how can they earn a spot if roster is taken up by them?

Not to mention that pretty much every NHL team has an "analytics" team, even the Canucks.

Yeah i read that every team budgets an anaytical department. How much they invest obviously varies from team to team.

Avatar bet they are both HHOF. Other then 1000 plus points they got its their unique style of how they played the game. Plus playing the game together entire NHL careers as top players is a feature of note in of itself.

I haven't watched any games since October, when I came back overseas, however, looking at stats I'm wondering why Jake Virtanen's icetime is being restricted by Green? Goldobin comes in and immediately plays 13 minutes but Virtanen is again only handed 9 minutes.

Is it his play, because it reads well, is he missing zone assignments, what's the deal with him and Travis Green?

Line matching mostly explains JV's lack of more minutes and no role on PK or PP. As for as compared to Goldy's one game he played on Bo's line and JV mostly with Gaunce.

He's looked pretty good taking development steps in his games. Still a lot to learn but looking more capable. Like to see more hitting though. But it should come together where he's scoring more.

TG seems to have plan with him. Bring him along in measured way at NHL level to build him up as effective power forward.

I don't see how they wouldn't make it in, both are in the top 85 points all time.

I'm sure they'll eventually get in, I'm just not sure it'll be a first ballot situation. Guys like Oates, Gilmour, Recchi and Andreychuk are top 30 in all-time points but it took them years to get in.
