But for what it's worth, I know 100% that it DOESNT have any bearing on the team.

And that's why I'm and we are so mad. Our love and passion doesn't mean poop and how we choose to accept or not accept the state of the team doesn't either and everything is completely out of our control except going to the games and you literally can't even give away tickets in the 100 level right now.

I just don't get it. The past 2 seasons, the majority of people on here are going on about how we need to trade for Lindholm or a player like him...

Then another team lands him for the definition of mediocre, I climb up on the peace bridge, and everyone says "He's comparable to Gorges" "Sucks at defense" and, my favorite "Ceiling is top-4".

I mean, really? Are we really gonna flip that switch like that? We gonna act like the majority of the message boards wasn't all for Lindholm for almost 2 years and now he's "Meh".

My problem is, that other teams, like New Jersey, have done small things to improve their team over the past 2 or 3 years.

We buy into a rebuild. Then fire our GM. Then hire LaFontaine. He wants to keep Miller and re-tool. But hires Tim Murray. Who wants to blow it up. LaFontaine cries and goes home (probably a pedophile), GMTM absolutely blows it to smithereens, then immediately, Pegula: "fire those involved less than 2 years later", hire a new guy, make some lateral moves (Ennis/Foligno for Pominville/Scandella) and NOW is the time I'm supposed to keep my cool?

Absolutely, (frank) this team. No one should be making excuses anymore. We had 1 cry-ass face of the franchise who's stink still lingers here (Miller) and now Jack's breathing it in, man.

Except he's worse. He has the worst body language I've ever seen. I love that he doesn't phone in his answers during interviews - I'll go one further and say I prefer it to ROR's Pominville act "The other team wanted it more" or "We have to be better, I have to be better".

It's funny because Eichel's attitude and demeanor, as crappy as they are, tell me he's more of an actual leader than someone like ROR who literally says all of the test answers verbatim like a "leader" should.

My problem is these supposed veterans who don't like the locker room but then don't put their own foot down and lay down some veteran-law. Or lead by example. Or call completely out on these entitled, albeit talented, youngin's.

Where? Where is the veteran presence? Where is the secondary accountability and leadership? Where? At least Jack isn't doing a perfect Miller impersonation: He didn't call out anyone for responding like a "Frail child" or blame anyone for the high-glove side goal against with 15 seconds left.

Henrique is a more complete player and responsible in all zones and on the PK, he wont put up the points Kane can but the other aspects of the game i believe Henrique is better at, and is known as a leader, also kane if i am not mistaken has a history of missing games every season due to injury

henrique is also signed for next season and can play center or wing
