Toews has gotta stop whining to the zebras.
- tompo1015

At least he's working his jaw out, he's been gliding on the ice all night, maybe figure skating is in his future.

Trying to give Toews the benefit of the doubt

But it’s not easy

Whining is whining.... hard to watch

Seabrook...... no answers ....AHL ? 😪

So i just got home and am just getting now getting caught up....

10 SOG!?!? Through 2 periods?!?! Is Dallas that good?

If not then why are we so bad tonight?? We're at home, we've been playing well, i totally didn't see this coming at all.

Hawks have a lot of tough decisions to make in the off season, $17 million tied up in two players who really are coasting.

Can't move either of those deals - Stan Bowman the gift that keeps on giving and giving and giving...how bout Panik?

Toews just gets flattened by Stars d-man. On a shoulder to shoulder open ice. I’ve never seen Toews crumple like that. He looks like a rookie who needs to hit the weights. Either his back is really messed up or he lost a lot of strength slimming down this summer. Either way. Yuck.

He was at the end of a long shift , and more from behind by a very big D man

How long before Quenneville finally realizes that John Hayden is one of his best forwards and belongs on the PP....Maybe he should also replace Panik on 1R. Panik looks tired, lost and disinterested. Move him down or sit his arse then Q. Wake up !!
- Hawkytalk

With Q who the hell knows. He had Seabrook out on the PK and the Stars guy got inside position on him. Some guys can poop the bed and nothing changes. But I guess because Hayden and Wingles were on the ice for the 3rd Dallas goal (thanks to Seabrook) its now time to short shift them.

They got a good kill, but generally have been outplayed by Dallas...but they only need 1 to tie it.

Dallas is good. Dallas getting monster contributions from their bottom 6. Hawks have had very few high quality chances. So far, Dallas has been better. Lets see what we got in the third.

Line 1 still starts with Toews. He’s not exactly making anyone around him better. Seabs is making everyone around him worse. I get his salting has slowed by wth is he whiffing on pucks routinely? Use to be the best passing d-man on the teams.

Seabrook is an absolute hot mess out there. It's time to get him off the ice.
- kwolf68

It's painful to watch him play

The last couple of years their bottom 6 always seems to do some damage against us. Someone make Schmaltz shoot.

Does Schmaltz know you have to shot to score?

Whole team pretty much getting rag dolled off the puck all night, hence the even more irrelevant presence of Captain Float and the “first line”. NOT leading.

How many power plays wasted, then a shorty.....

Ten SOG with FOUR power plays.....

This is not a question of individual player weaknesses, rather it is a true team lack of effort.

NBCSN fanboys already excusing their play as a matter of fatigue. Pales in comparison to playoff intensity. If they cant show up for these games what makes anyone think they can survive a playoff run.

Ugh.....

The Hawks don't have a #1 line right now. Panik is sleepwalking. Toews is weak and coasting and Saad is playing alone.

Stars announcers are (frank)ing idiots. Said Hayden embellished it. Then they chuckled when they saw the blood.
