There is no argument, this is all Peter Schaefer's fault

Late to the party, but I have to disagree with the premise of this article. I see the Sabres at the net after the whistle quite a bit. Reinhart was face washing a guy against the lightning. Jack tried to a fight a guy this year, Risto is probably more physical than defenseman we've had since Spacek or Rivet, same McCabe. Kane is tough, ROR scores his goals around the net all the time.

Remember that backhand goal last year where he danced through the low slot and finally fired top shelf?

This team doesn't seem soft to me. Its problem is that we have 2 players in the top 6 that should be on the third line (Pouliot and Pominville). Okposo is a third liner on a cup team as well. Okposo is also pretty tough in his own right. No one takes advantage of him imo

The reason we suck is that that 2/3rds of the third line is pretending to be a second line, the third line is a weak 4th line, and the fourth line would have trouble scoring in the AHL

Although the Lucic hit on miller was the final straw, the underlying reason was that we couldn't buy, find, draft or kidnap a #1 Or 2 center. We were going to keep finishing 10th.
