11-10-4 barely above .500. Oilers are only 4 points behind even after their bad start. Should start slowly tanking soon. I'd rather JB makes some trades earlier then waiting for the TDL. Trade Vanek, put in Goldy, bring over Dahlen.

Development is key to this season so wonder if some lessons were learned on this trip. Last game showed a lot of lack of preparation(energy level) and focus. Everyone except Bo was out of it. The Isles are one of the best at home and to challenge them a team like the Canucks have to be totally on. They were not even close and easy game for Isles to win.

Having spent 6 days in NYC seems to have been mind blowing for some on the Canucks. So heard this rumor and take it for what you want BS or smoke. Having time and opportunity during long holiday break MDZ showed those willing a good time around town. The kind of hook up for the special invite only anonymous private club events where artistic sexual exhibits are taken in.

But hey we can just yawn at it all or skate around without direction or awareness. You know the kind displayed so salaciously last night.

So pundits are talking about JV sitting and Goldy in for next game. I think TG missed an opportunity last game and extended Burmi a second chance to impress for Center role more sorely needed with Sutter out.

It's like Canucks have 1.5 capable centers now with the 4 others willing but not able to fill the role. So guess TG stressed that over a gain of speed and offense that Goldy could provide. Plus the big unproven if Goldy can show it at NHL level question.

I think TG will go to the blender again and if so I hope he try this:

Goldy Bo BB - see if Goldy can take pressure off BB & bring more speed too.
Sedins LE - let them do their thing measure minutes accordingly
Sven Gran JV - secondary scoring in sheltered role hope
Gaunce Gagner Vanek - Use as needed. Gaunce adds faceoffs/boardwork

As for BB at C he is smart & atm no other C’s other than Bo & Hank r doing anything.

Well this is certainly experimental and maybe better tried in pre-season or when team is out of it post TDL. But if you want lighting why not an easier add of Goldy with Bo and BB? LS offensive weapon with top Center and rookie RS scorer getting a lot of attention.

The other lines set up better leaving the young guns with Bo together. Plus the way you have them still not sure what you are trying to achieve like the 4th one with Gagner Gaunce Granlund?

I'll add this note. BB is just breaking into league putting pressure on him to learn center position which he has never played plus not having great skating sounds like a recipe for disaster.
