That play (or non play) made by Holden is basic hockey that you learn in pee wee, hard off the glass clear the zone. He has had some good games but that is a silly no excuse mistake that cost us. The way I see it Kampfer has no way played himself out of the lineup, he has been fairly solid the past couple weeks but of course he will sit as Holden is McDonagh's partner... Holden should sit a game or two and ponder a bit.
On another note, Hayes and Nash together are monsters!! two big guys with over the top hands and dangles, these two are more than a handful to handle. |

No idea if it still exists, but they used to let you go to the old huge ski jumps and go snow tubing down the landing section. - eichiefs9
I think they still have it. The team manager mentioned something about that. The team manager also happens to be the brother of Meadow Soprano |

Holden put it right onto his stick, horrible clearing attempt.
On another note, see bold. |

It really is a lot of fun. I'm never around on weekends. Probably on the ice 6 days a week when you include practices and games. It's awesome just killing the bank account - Vukota
Yup, same for me. My wife, not so much. She's rebelling against the whole suburban mom thing.

I think, and I am not defending his decision, that Holden didn't go hard off the glass because he was trying to put it up to the winger who was in the neutral zone.
Like I said, not defending the decision, because at that time of the game, it's the wrong one, but it was his choice, not execution that failed him there. |

had they rangers kept him another year, i doubt anybody gives a first round pick for Stepan let alone a top ten. it would take a career year from him for something like that. i'm actually okay with the Stepan trade even if DeAngelo ends up as a 7th defenseman and Anderson ends up as a third line center. it's a risk, but it's cap relief if nothing else. - Why So Serious
You guys seem to be forgetting that Gorton did not have another year to move Stepan. After July 1, 2017 he had a full NMC kicking in. That definitely effected the return on a trade, but it had to be done. That contract would have made signing all the young guys near impossible. So, to get the 7th overall and a flyer on a young D-man with great potential didn't seem to bad to me. Yes, it may take time for the effect to be seen on the ice, but it's not a perfect world where other teams want to do NY any favours. |

Should have made the safe play to clear the puck with little over a minute left, get the point after a big comeback, then go for the other in OT. How many last minute goals has this team allowed? |

Here are the basic rules of life:
In your late teens and 20s you have a poop load of fun and generally do whatever you want to do.
In your 30s and early 40s you chase kids around to all kinds of poop, because you are beholden to them.
In your mid-40s through 60, after the little frankers are out of the house, you go back to doing the things you want to do but having to account for your various physical ailments and miss the days when you were chasing kids around everywhere.
In your 60s onward you player poker poolside in some retirement community with a couple of guys named Morty and Sal, and wear sandals, black dress socks and shorts.
These are the rules of life for people that decide to procreate. There is no sense fighting against them |

I can't wait for my 60's. You can pretty much get away with anything and people will just blame it on being old |
