Nah he was bad last night. But so was Staal, Holden and Smith.

Someone want to explain or make an excuse for why Buchnevich only saw 2 more minutes than Paul Carey and actually less time 5 on 5? AV relies on the wrong players, in the end he's gonna get fired , Gorton is putting his neck out by not having done it prior to this season

Gorton should be gone also for not picking up a center prior to the season.

Last night wasn't totally Av's Fault. Gorton has to share some of the blame in all of this. Gorton gave AV a back up who stinks, thus AV has to ride Lundqvist. I don't blame AV there. Why he doesn't play Buch more idk. Buch reminds me so much of Alex Semin in the sense that he can at times be the most talented guy on the ice. But not all time, partly I think he plays like because he knows if he makes one mistake AV will just pass him over.

If they had completed the comeback, everybody would have the right to celebrate that. That's tough to do in the NHL. But it seems like the Rangers frequently have to climb out of deep holes due to them giving up early goals in bunches.

Selfishly I hope Zibanejad is back by Friday. I cannot afford to be without 3 centers on my fantasy team.

didnt think he had a particularly good game either. just b/c he's the first line wing doesnt mean he should be guaranteed first line ice time.

other than the pass to kreider, which was a beauty, all i can remember we a couple turnovers on the pp and him shooting right into reimers glove all alone in front

I want to win fantasy. I'm down to Kopitar and RNH as my only healthy centers. Malkin injured, Getzlaf on IR and now Zibanejad nicked up.

He's still young. His NHL career is only 66 games old and he's 22. He's gonna make mistakes. But does his talent outwiegh the potential mishaps? Maybe. For guys like Kampfer, Holden and Staal the answer is no because they all aren't as talented. So it's tough for AV. But Buch is one of his most talented guys. You gotta keep playing him.

I'll say this, coming back from how bad they were down was definitely a positive. It's been mentioned before, but this team is doing that frequently. It's a weird trait to have because on one hand it's obviously great to see the character come out when needed. But on the other hand, why can't they put in the full effort and play with the lead?

That being said, can't win hockey games giving up 5 goals. That can't continue if this team is to be successful.

Great game by Kreider/Hayes/ Buch.

Again. Without McDonagh, lost Zib in warm ups and Hank an off night. There were a ton of positives in that game, and would have definitely got 1 point if not for an awful call.

No way any of you could make me feel negative about last night.

Like Nick said, if they would have won people would have said, they should have won and this means nothing.

Last night was just how the Rangers have been playing the same type of hockey for 2 months.

After last night, the Rangers are tied with CBJ for first in xGF/60 (adjusted) at 2.66 on the season. Still dead last (by ~4%) by xGA/60. Imagine their own zone just not being a tire fire.

He scored, was in a few scrums, had decent forechecks. What more could he have done in a game when they were down 4-1 at one point?

You lost to a bottom feeder who played the night before. Nothing positive about last night take off your red, white and blue speedo and smarten up By the way didn't see a second of the game and just busting your chops

Dude can dust! I don't remember who he hit, but he clocked one of the guys square in the face. I think I saw he was taking boxing lessons over the summer.

He hit 2 guys. I think it was cause he took a stick to the mouth at the end of the period. Surprised there were no penalties for that.

That's basically what that tweet and charts say. If they could even be decent in their own zone they'd so much better. Because they can still score despite only have 3 NHL centers.
