People can only take so much losing.

it's amazing how energetic it is in Tampa arena vs the Sabres

even when the bolts were losing last year

it's not at the level of the sabres post lockout, but it's pretty damn close to the level of the arena when we had hasek in his prime

When is the next viewing of this exciting brand of hockey.

I think we are going to be good

.
Someday in the next 5 years, maybe.

Not sure what u mean here
Fasching is much bigger than Hurley, more of the power forward type
Much better scorer as well
I think Hurley hasn’t scored more than 5 goals in any of his college seasons
Fasching is a legit scorer at every level so far

Idk if Hurley will even make it to the AHL

I don't think you realize how much money he has.

He's already made $110M on the Sabres. A ~42% RoI as of last year.

Plus he still owns 2 energy companies, a country music label, not to mention the Bills, Bandits, Americans, Harborcenter, 716...

- Wetbandit1

I don't think money is the issue. Big name players do not want to come here and it will take 20 years to farm a Stanley Cup champion team. We always have to play second or third fiddle to available UFA's. It is becoming less and less appealing for an Elite or even good NHL player to sign here. Makes it tough to win a cup.

Thanks, I must have the wrong vision of each in my head.

No worries
For what it’s worth,
I’ve never been a huge Fasching fan
He doesn’t have the speed or skating ability we seem to want
However,
he has improved his skating
And is a talented goal scorer around the net

Imo,
he will be an NHL player
If not with us,
then we should be able to trade him

He’s in the “B” prospect range with Bailey, Baptiste, Smith & Rodrigues

Yeah
He’s been a legit goal scorer in college
And in his limited healthy time in Rochester as well

I’m not big on him bc his skating is still average at best
But he can score
Especially around the net

College yes. Rochester no.

14 goals and 21 points in 56 AHL games is not good for a 21/22 year old

Tbd if he can do it in the NHL
Just saying that so far,
he’s put the puck in the net

he has been healthy and is 11th in scoring for rochester though

my guess is it's more about what situation he is put in if he makes the big club, if ever called up again

then again I feel that way about all call ups

if your calling up a semi skilled player, don't bury him on the 4th line with the big club

He’s scoring once every 3 games this year
That’s legit imo

Most guys struggle their 1st year in the AHL
Even in his injury plagued season,
he still scored at an ok pace & demonstrates scoring ability

He’s a “b” prospect

Goal scoring
He’ll never be an “assist” guy

He’s in a group with Bailey, Baptiste, Rodrigues & Smith talent wise
They’re all better skaters than him,
so he’s probably gonna be the odd man out here

He can be a trade piece for us though
I’m sure there’s teams that would like to acquire him

smith is lw, not comparable as fasching plays rw

one is a winning franchise

the other is a lottery franchise

the problem with dc, they tried to rush to catch up

the only thing dc did right IMO was develop lex luthor, and the man of steel movie

the justice league was a hot mess just throwing sh!t together, no reason to do it w/o a stand alone aquaman and flash movie

they got wonder woman right, for 40 minutes, then it went south

batman vs superman was moving along decent til they shoved doomsday in 15 minutes for it's era

marvel did it right and now they can throw anything together and they will in these next 2 avenger movies

Marvel could make a movie about Matt Moulson, Zemgus, Larsson, and the rest of the bottom six and it would be successful.

Because we saw whatever happened coming...

And he's definitely been better the past 2 weeks or so.

- Wetbandit1

He will never live up to the contract he signed, even last year as well as he played he wasn’t even close to being worth that kind of coin.
For 7 mil you better score more than 25 goals , this year we are going to have a bunch of people that don’t meet their contract. And the only one that will, is most likely going to get traded.
