I’m fine with them being in the AHL

I just don’t get thinking Griffith, Criscuolo, etc were a good plan to be playing regular minutes here when they’re was legit NHLers we could’ve signed to help

Gionta is an obvious example
I’m sure there were others like Pouliot we could’ve brought in as well

We had a chit load . and not mush high talent depth picking so high. No first rounders there . They were here.

Just saying that I don’t really understand what J Botts was thinking in that regard

Jack is gonna be on our top line regardless
His production won’t be affected by who is on our 3rd line either way

Having Nylander & Mittelstadt is a HUGE offensive upgrade on line 3
Currently our 3rd line has scored 4 goals ALL season

Why is this such a hard concept for you to grasp?
I’m not depending on these kids to “save” us... just give some decent offensive production

No team is successful without a bunch of key players in their prime, and the Sabres have very few of those ( Kane, RoR?). You can add as many rookies or over the hill geezers as you want , but until your core is mature, responsible and capable, it won't produce the results you want.
