I've heard from a few people that Kasdorf was a seriously good goalie in college, but he blew out his shoulder and it has never been the same, now his glove hand is like a lead weight.

The number 1 thing I learned from the rebuild is that the NHL is boring when your team sucks. I totally get why the NHL can't attract new fans. I now realize that I'm a fan of the Sabres and hockey, but the NHL as a league is terrible

Maybe for you, but the game has changed. Last night was the first game I've watched since I went to the Florida game. The interference is garbage and there's very little creativity. I used to watch any game I could from '06-'10 when NHL hockey had a good product. I wouldn't subject myself to out of town hockey for anything anymore

Eh, I just don't like the way the league is run or the way the rules are implemented. I'm back to casual fan status because the entire game has lost its luster for me.

Some truth to this, but even if you had the right people you wouldn't be a playoff team because you still need time for players to develope. Patience.

You should watch different NHL teams they're very exciting check out Vegas sometime

Right now, with morale being at close to an all-time low, I would not mind 85 pts and draft 6th.
Ending the year at 68 pts, last place and then losing another lottery would be way too soul-crushing for the fans (and the core players). Gotta develop at least a little "winning culture".
