Sanheim is coming on very quickly. I thought Sanheim was strong that period. I think he's playing better now than Gostisbehere is. I think Sanheim is going to be a flat out stud. I want to see his responsibilities grow.

I don't care what any of the croakers say (these are people not named mjl, btw), this team is better than the way they've been playing. Not a great team by any stretch of the imagination, but also not the tire fire inside of a dumpster fire that they've been the last 6 games or so.

I agree with you. Lot's a frustration and overreaction. The truth is somewhere in between.

So far in two games I'm not very impressed with Sam Morin. He was terrible on that goal against. Took himself completely out of the play to try and hit an Isles player out of the flow of play.

He needs to be a bit more controlled, but over all i like his game so far. He changes the way the way the other team plays the puck in the d zone... your gonna have to live with some mistakes with these young guys....I thought Sanheims first period was dominant at both ends of the ice, and look how much he has struggled at times.

Four point game if the Flyers win. 2 for overcoming the Islanders, 2 for overcoming the refs.

If I'm calling the game, I don't call either of those hooks. The one on Jake was ridiculous, the one on Konecny was a good stick lift.

That being said, calling the one on Jake means you have to call the one on against Konecny. Brutal.

And the PPG against is shocking.

The Isles player got his stick on Konecny's hands, that's a hook. Voracek's was a stick lift and a horrendous call.
