Between him and pullout we really need to ramp up the Hutton trade talks...
- Pres.cup

East coast media have a woody for hutton for some reason. Have seen a ton of tweets and articles on how under appreciated he is.

Hey, you are forgetting about Philip Holm? Pullout is just a pump and dump.

Manfan is right tho. Tanbir at the summit demanded an open book policy with them "when are we winning at a cup, i dont care about rebuilds or playoffs, goal needs to be a stanley cup now". This fan base cant handle a rebuild or a closed door policy. Most fans love linden for his open book stance. Benning literally got fined for talking too much lol. 50k or something for subban and stamkos

(frank) him, whoever he is? They can and are handling a rebuild right now. They've finished 6th, 3rd and 2nd last in the past four years and tanked at the TDL the past two years. This is a rebuild, just an awkward one because the owner is an idiot.

A canucks fan was ranting about Pavel Brendl in relation to EP's scoring rate on twitter. Where that comparison came from who the (frank) knows. The canuck fan base is full of morons, for lack of better word. Any prospect who is doing well is a bust, any prospect who probably won't ever make the NHL should be penciled in the next season.

It's a rebuild, it just hasn't been done in an East coast media fashion.

Media drives the bus though. I saw twitter was in a frenzy this morning because petersson is playing in a beer league, boesers numbers are luck and not sustainable, and pratt apparently said we are easily a playoff team. Media has a large hand in how fans are portrayed

Every fan base is the same, minority is just vocal and doesn't represent the majority. Go to the Flyers board when they lose and someone asks "what 4th liner are we blaming this loss on" tongue in cheek

They are two wins off last season's pace, they play 82 games for a reason, this could easily go south.

On the other hand they could squeak into the playoffs, get roasted in the first round, and draft another Gaunce, Schroeder, Jensen, White at 23rd

Flyers and leafs are a different breed.
Nucks fans are so clueless
Boston and New York Ranger fans are the biggest babies
Habs fans can turn on their players in one bad game.

Pastrnak at 25
Andre Burakovsky at 23
Every draft is different, there is always someone who does better then they should. Just have to draft them.

I'd say drafting over the past 4 years has gotten much better. You see less and less complete busts in the first round.

Yes there's usually a guy there but only one lucky team gets him while the rest take a pass, drafting up there is hard. You're better off top five, as in Pettersson and Juolevi.

For every Pastrnak and Burakovsky in the 21-30 range there's a lot of duds, just look at the drafts.

OJ is a bust btw. Only 2 assists today.

It's a character things for JB. He likes players that know how to face adversity. One reason why I don't think he ever wanted to draft Jake. (rumour was he wanted Larkin)

I did look at the drafts that's how I came up with those 2 and I knew where they were drafted.

But you ignored the five guys on either side of them that are crap. I'm just saying for a rebuilding team they should, and have been, concentrating on higher picks because your chances of success are higher.

2012 from 20 to 30 is poop, except one or two guys, LA got it right with Pearson kinda and Maatta is ok, the other teams struck out. Drafting is difficult.

i agree. they are too open and i don't like it.

if aquaman is involved in these negotiations, it confirms that he's too involved in the day to day stuff.

I agree, and you are correct about following the proper process, to me it shows Linden was brought in as a fan favourite figure head.

Ken King is an idiot and he is still with the Flames. Not as concerned about the President as much as the GM and JB seems to have this club heading in the right direction with his last few picks and prospects.

Juolevi with his 3rd assist of the day - TPS up 3-2 with 2 mins left.

Gaunce hasnt scored in 81 games - 97 shots since that puck went in off his foot -

no dice
