Last year after US Thanksgiving Canucks went 22-33-7
- A_SteamingLombardi

Thats nice. Good thing it was last year lol
Thats why they play the games let alone a different roster & kids 1 year older.

Last year the Pens shut us out twice.
Hardly matters this year eh?

Canucks will make the playoffs and re-sign Sedins based off a Cinderella playoff run.

"TANKERS" will be furious their team and superstars played well.

Craig Buttons mock team canada 23 man roster has neither lind or gadjovich on it, and dipietro as backup. Am i the only one who thinks dillon dube is not only a terrible team captain pick, but not even close enough to make the team?

After seeing the wingers, I have to wonder who the centers will be. Suzuki on the wing? I could see Lind making it over Kaspick and Philips.

Oh and Dube is a 200 foot player

The Los Angeles Kings have acquired forward Torrey Mitchell from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for a conditional 2018 fifth-round draft pick.
0 points in 11 games for a 32 year old.

Dube is an awful player. Why or how he is considered for this team is beyond me.

Sorry duran and redmile.

Last year after 22 games...

GF - 49
GA - 66
Record 9-11-2

This year after 22 games...

GF - 61
GA - 61
Record 11-8-3

The biggest difference I see there is more offense, record is almost the same but better in regulation. A much more watchable product though! Is that a word?

The biggest difference this season so far. Van is actually capable of winning on any given night. Last season it was just luck if they won.

I don't know, 60 games left is a long ways to go, many things can happen between now and then.

This is a one line team so I hope they get into a lottery situation until they're ready to compete in the playoffs, but that's just me.

I'm pretty excited about Pettersson though, hopefully he's as advertised next year or the year after. I'm also hoping they take their time with him and let him get some adult/man strength so they can let him play center.

Lind and Gadjovich were two of the oldest kids in last years draft and as such they're eligible to play in the AHL next year, so hopefully that's the plan.

I think those two things are not mutually exclusive, more offense and capable of winning every night.

I have enjoyed how the team has stepped up their effort in the last two games, especially with some key injuries on the blue line. I am particularly impressed with Brandon Sutter's work ethic. Every shift the guy is out there skating like it is his last and he is winning battle after battle, even on the draws. Well done Sutter!

Oh and Boeser too

Sutter's been an excellent shutdown guy for the team, his offense has suffered as a result but he's a good bottom six center, over-paid, but whatever, it's not holding the team back in any way.

Hopefully we get to see Gaudette at the end of this year or he may just go straight to Utica. Either way there is definitely a lot of excitement coming but without high end defensive prospects we'll be a bubble team at best.

Not me... i fought this fight all year last year. I want my team to win every single game. I want my centers to win every draw and my goalies to post constant shut outs.
I am a fan.

If they miss the playoffs then i want them to win the lotto, but unlike some of the jock itchers in here, you know who you are, i will never cheer for them to lose.
