It wasn’t me who thought him a PO bust i refer to when the Habs got him. The Habs woeful offense for far too long was the issue.

I dont think he is a bust (common knock, easy even if incorrect pigeon holing...
that poor bird), but a few more points per are always nice. some guys just cant battle through the playoffs as they do the regular season.

I had remembered something about him "quietly" picking up points in the regular season. it sounds funny. he seems noticeable in our lineup.

He is a pro & more limelight here he was overdue to a degree. Again i like him back next season after a TDL deal. He can play no doubt & some prospects won’t be ready to make him a forgotten resigning. Even more so if the Sedins hang em up.

I'm starting to be open to signing them for another year at 2M apiece as third liners. Watching them with limited minutes this year, they can still work on the 2nd power play. Not fast but still potentially dangerous against the opposing teams 3rd line. Whether they are okay with ending their careers like that is another thing.

I would have agreed with you at the beginning of the year but I think Danny is winding down. Hank may last another year but I doubt he would sign without Danny.
