By definition, fans like you who cheer like Marv levy, oooh raaaa go bills have no clue. The best players in buffalo get blamed for everything, we suck, so everyone falls in that category. We have a great core of players,we are so close, we need a few breaks,I laugh at the same remarks for years.the same people we will be in the playoffs this year. We are the worst team in hockey. These fans must of been drinking with murray

Positive note, antipin has looked alright the last handful of games. Last night he didn't have the worst D partner available and he flourished.

Could end up being a nice addition.

im not the one who called him a generational talent. I said hes playing fine. not above or below what i would expect from a guy stuck on literally the leagues worst team.

Also, still on his rookie deal so if you're holding him against those expectations may want to wait till his actual contract kicks in.

Maybe not you specifically, but you sir are in the minority..
And Please, like next year he is magically going to excelerate.
...and lastly, one word...McDavid.

mcdavid is being bashed similarly by edmonton fans over the age of 40

but if your argument is eichel isn't mcdavid -- i think that was settled already. he obviously isnt.

What’s this about Eichel and the lambo in LA? Googled it and nothing came up.

Buff39- don’t beat around the bush, tell us the issues with Okposo and Eichel and the rest.

It’s also an injured mediocre defense &
sh!tty goaltending

It’s NOT Jack & ROR
Although i do agree they can play better
And I expect they will

I don’t see the point in trashing them when there’s other MUCH LARGER ISSUES

- jdfitz77

See, that is it, trash EVERYONE. Who is underperforming, EVERYONE.
If your two leaders aren’t running through walls, why expect your 7th through 12yh forwards to do it.
It is called being a leader, being accountable, and they aren’t doing it...they talk about it...walk the walk!
Yes they have problems there, but it starts at the top...and this top isn’t leadership material..therefore no one is going to be challenged to play better.

You keep saying why can’t you see it ... I ask you, why can’t you see that? It is like you expect the support to be the leaders....upside down typical Buffalo logic.

the nhl is full of professional adults, they don't need a leader to "run through walls" to motivate them to try hard

players are who they are, if you think they have a poopty attitude i really doubt someone will be able to make it change.

when the team is good, all these issues disappear. "heart" and "leadership" is a scapegoat people blame when they can't come up with a tangible reason a team is bad

case in point: bills at 5-2 had all the character and leadership in the world, don't hear a peep about how great the process is now that they are 5-5

Turmoil in sabre land, voice text from friend today, players are eating with their respective families and enjoying the day. Management is rushing to find solution, let's just say no option is off the table

Yet, he has the skill set to be...but no idea how to use it properly...and most of it is due to not being developed properly, there is more to winning the game by playing when you have the puck in the O-zone....that is my point...so thank you for reinforcing it.

He didn’t like Bylsma who tried to hold him accountable, so he got him fired.
He pouts, gives up, etc. where is the fire to get the puck back.

Now, tell me when he has accelerated, dominated in a key game, on the “world stage”. He was destroyed by his peer group in the WJ20, in the World Cup, he wilts when playing against McDavid, his contemporary...that is why he isn’t McDavid.
Check the points list so far this year, last year...

McDavid isn’t making his Big Contract money yet either, yet on a poor team he has 9 more points...that translates to 35 more points over the season ... just like last year.

I know as a Buffalo fan it is hard to take, but you’ll come around I’m sure.
At 21 he needs to learn this isn’t Midget anymore...your opposition of the highest level and you need to compete properly to win...else, he will be another good player with a huge contract for an elite player...under performance.

Hopefully, someone gets to him.

Couldn’t disagree more.
Leadership is doing what is required no matter the situation. It is the driving force to make others around you play better, consistently..it is giving it all, all the time to earn the right to challenge others to fully commit. It is the reason for winning. Buffalos’ culture is to accept mediocrity and expect a miracle..i. Is what happens when people don’t know how to lead.

They were 5-2 in an unsustainable way. Turnovers from the D was a primary reason.

I spoke to Price last night at the Preds game, he refused to answer the question about knocking up a 16 year old. I was 23 rows off the ice and did get to hang out in 2 different suites during the game so I think you know I'm kind of a big deal.
