Sloppy through 2 periods and, especially in the second, just flat out bad defensively. But they got it together in the third!

I'm not so down on Ladd. That goal wasn't just a tap in...he had a good battle going on in front and got his stick down in time to get the pass. I think if he gets better as the season goes on like he usually does, we'll be reasonably happy with him.

On that goal...Barzal's play with no room at the blue line was...well...something we're getting used to, but still damn impressive.

Ho-Sang was really good tonight as well. Glad he got the OT assist because he deserved to walk away from that game with something.

Keeps it simple. When he shoots, he makes sure it gets on net even if that means flipping it there instead of launching it. When he commits for a hit, he makes sure he connects, and when all else fails, he’s not above mugging someone to make sure the play stays ahead of him

by the way, if Bailey hits the 90+ point mark, what do you think his contract looks like? I am actually getting nervous about that.

I kind of agree with you here. and I normally think that these types of "discounts" are bullpoop. But in this case, they stuck with him even when he was pretty much ineffective. This is probably going to be his biggest payday. I'd offer him 5 years at 5.25. That's a good raise and if he keeps up this production for another 3 years that will be a bargain.

I just read the court papers on the lawsuit against Mike Ribeiro. I mean, im pretty sure everyone already knew he was a total bumhole for drinking non stop, but what i am reading is horrible. He more of less was attempting to rape his babysitter while his POS wife was well aware of it and she did nothing about it. wtf is wrong with ppl?
