Nick Leddy's assist on the opening goal was his 111th as an Isle, breaking a tie with Roman Hamrlik for 10th place on the all-time defense Iist.

With 21 points in 23 games this season, Leddy is averaging .91 points/game. The last Islander defensemen to have that high of an average was Marc Andre-Bergeron (21 points/ 23 games =.91 in 2006-07). No Islander defenseman without the surname of Potvin has ever averaged .91 points/game over a full season (Denis did it 10 times and Jean once).

Sure does this site gets worse and worse with content and navigation. I would say Ek has a couple yrs maybe left in the tank...

I'm so happy Joe Michiletti no longer does games for us. I hated him when he was with the isles listening to him now is painful he's actually worse than Butch.

Well nothing you can do just have to hope isles keep taking care of business. Both keepers are playimg better so that's a big help

This team is exciting to watch although every game you're on the edge of your seat watching with one eye thru your hand. Heck if they can learn team d we wouldn't be so nervous at home but I'll take it
