Give Prince a shot for Chimera without a doubt.
Ladd is Ladd as I always said a one trick pony and he’s getting slower as he gets older imho. I don’t think he adds anything to the Barzal and Ebs line as Cpt has said imho anyone would have success on that line with Ebs and Barzal playing the way they currently are.
Pelech and CDH play against every teams scoring line I don’t think you want Pulock on that detail JS. I don’t think you want Pulock and Mayfield paired together either so I’m ok with Hickey In for Seidenberg.
I mean there are a hell of a lot of better coaches on here than Dougie so what do I know? - nyisles7
No man Dougie is the end all be all of NHL coaches as we all know. Dougie rulez and everything he does is indisputable because he so obviously knows all. |

It may help a little? Isles may need to wait for the offseason to make a big deal. Just think it makes sense to play Pulock more to see if he is an option going forward or do the Isles need to bring in another top 4. - ses111

So Trouba is only getting about $2.8 MM. Isles have almost that amount of space already, so with the loss of the two salaries you proposed, I think they can make it work.
For some reason I thought Trouba was getting more than that.... - JohnScammo
Thanks John! I think Trouba took a shorter deal? He would be nice to add to the top 4 along with having Leddy. Losing Beau would be tough, but the Isles top 6 seems set for a while and if Ho Sang improves Isles will be more than fine on offense and Bellows seems to be doing well in Juniors.

I disagree. Came close to scoring twice once with a beautiful one timer and crashed the net another time. Made some nice defensive plays was noticeable to me... Chimera's defensive game was always good not so much this season IMO. Can't justify him in the line up at this point this many games in he's not contributing. Chimera is not doing much out there and that's coming from a fan of his. - Cptmjl
That's funny, because I mostly remember Beau for losing some puck battles along the boards.... |

Garth will get it done Cpt. He has new confidence from the Eberle/Strome deal.

Also, Leddy and Boychuck are out there against opposing teams top units more often than not especially when we have last change. Weight usually matches our first line out against their first line and Leddy and Boychuck are also there whenever your boy Dougie can make it happen . |

So it all depends whether you think they are a go for it now Team after rebuilding for twelve plus years.
For me this team can score and if they can tighten up defensively I think they can compete for the Cup( yes I said that ). That would mean adding another top 4 dman imho and of course the team needs to buy into a tighter structure/strategy.
Also might as well go for it with JT here |

I think the Isles have to strike while JT is in his prime. I'm not sure they have the goaltending yet even if they add a Dman like Trouba? |

I liked Greiss in the playoffs. He didn't get enough credit for that series against the Panthers IMO. Also Halak is a proven playoff performer even though his game has been meh at times and he is about as consistent as Noel's blog output. Teams have been winning the cup with less than stellar goaltending in recent years. Murray had some great moments and not so great ones with the pens. With that said I would feel better with more consistent goaltending than what we have. |

All about the angles man.
It is an exagerration by design. Trying to depict the gross exagerration that is your usual, " Well Dougie said it so it's written in stone and must be right. So let it be written let it be done."

Best d is a good offense and the top line is strong possesion wise so He matches them to the other teams top line. |
