This gets me more points because some thought we agreed too much.

Not being so tough on Ladd gets some complainer points taken off my record. I cannot be negative all the time.

Weight: Halak in goal, Quine for Beau, Hickey for Seidenberg.

Strange moves IMO. I mean Chimera is the obvious one to sit. Beau actually had a more noticeable game to me. Sit Pelech and Seidenberg if you really want hickey back in for some inexplicable reason and also insert Pulock. Pelech was an abortion last night and for the last few games for that matter. Can't sit him though have to justify his 4 year deal amirite? As far as hickey Idk maybe he had a great practice or blew the right coach? Halak well that's a give in and here's his chance to shine. Hopefully he does.

No problem with this. Figured Seidenberg wouldn’t play back to backs.

Let the Pulock should be in and Dougie doesn’t know what he’s doing brigades begin their rants.

I would have substituted Pulock for Pelech, but I can live with this.

Dilemma for you, 7, is when Prince gets healthy, will you have him playing in place of Ladd?

I actually thought Chimera and the 4th line played ok yesterday. IMO, Beau was a total non-factor.

Give Prince a shot for Chimera without a doubt.
Ladd is Ladd as I always said a one trick pony and he’s getting slower as he gets older imho. I don’t think he adds anything to the Barzal and Ebs line as Cpt has said imho anyone would have success on that line with Ebs and Barzal playing the way they currently are.

Pelech and CDH play against every teams scoring line I don’t think you want Pulock on that detail JS. I don’t think you want Pulock and Mayfield paired together either so I’m ok with Hickey In for Seidenberg.

I mean there are a hell of a lot of better coaches on here than Dougie so what do I know?

I wonder if a deal around Pulock and Beau for Trouba makes any sense?

Thank you for recognizing our prowess.

Yeah, I get what you're saying about CDH and Pelech playing 2nd pair minutes against better forwards. That's why I'm not here beating the drums for Pulock. But I would give him a shot anyway, especially following a weak game by Pelech. After having a bad pre-season, Pulock has been defensively adequate in most of the games I've seen. And then there's his 105 mph slapshot.....

Well I’m not Snow, but I would think the Islanders would want to add a proven defenseman.

Adding Trouba to the top 4 to go along with this offense would be very temping. Would be worth giving up Beau and Pulock and especially with Toews and Aho among other D knocking on the D. With the Isles playing well, this is the time to try to make a deal to help even more.

Good question John. Isles might not be able to make this work with the Cap.

It may help a little? Isles may need to wait for the offseason to make a big deal. Just think it makes sense to play Pulock more to see if he is an option going forward or do the Isles need to bring in another top 4.

I disagree. Came close to scoring twice once with a beautiful one timer and crashed the net another time. Made some nice defensive plays was noticeable to me... Chimera's defensive game was always good not so much this season IMO. Can't justify him in the line up at this point this many games in he's not contributing. Chimera is not doing much out there and that's coming from a fan of his.

So Trouba is only getting about $2.8 MM. Isles have almost that amount of space already, so with the loss of the two salaries you proposed, I think they can make it work.

For some reason I thought Trouba was getting more than that....
