IMO, he's not a centre in the NHL.

He needs to be put in a position to succeed and they need to tweak that 3rd line. Minor issue with the lines as Lines 1, 2 & 4 are humming.

Did you notice that Toews did not see the ice for our last PP ?? Thank God....he's been mediocre at best again tonight. Now get Keith of the PP and we'll see more improvement....... ADB has been great all night...... he needs to be on the 1st PP unit from here on out. The kid sees the ice as good as anybody, including Kane..... and his passes are always tape to tape.

Keith set up the pass to Fransen who passed it to Kane who scored while Toews was screening the goalie on their 2nd goal pp, pretty sure they weren't mediocre, was an impressive array of passing and positioning.

While many are clamoring for Vinny Highmore quietly keeping pace point wise and is a centre.

hawks are playing better the last 2-3 games...but it would nice to start beating central division teams in 1-3-1; one OT win vs the preds

Is his contract guaranteed. I don't think you give up on this veteran yet. He has bern out a lot with injuries last two seasons. Young kids at Rockford should stay there to develop, not play 4th line. Hinostroza should be on a third line, anyway. Tonight so far Highmore had both Icehog goals ....up to 8 goals

no..he signed a straight one year deal...he can be waived..if this continues intot the spring...and the hawks are competitive; he will be gone..

yep...they flip it year to year to allow for the home and home vs the east..and that it is a 7 team division...

hawks have jets and wild for 5 games...jets give them fits..2 of the last 3 are vs the blows

Jets give everyone fits, especially since Laine. Preds normally ends up a 50/50 split season series or so. Bishop and Hitch's stars aren't much

Temas in the central are still Hawks, Blues, Preds, for any top 3 then Winnipeg for a w.c. spot Hellybuck cannot continue this hot play and will have to level off at some point

He's now playing with more confidence, almost too loosely (had a bad turnover in the 2nd) but looks like a top 4 the way he defends and shoots the puck.

How about his emergence on the PP. Keep an eye on that. He had 2 shots on that one PP in the 2nd; one off the post and the other was knee high to Vasilevskiy's glove.

it's a big deal that he's playing well. It really settles that 2nd pair LD, giving Q some options. Blackhawks should decide on one 7th Dman and trade / send to Rockford the other and use the roster space to add Hino or another forward.

alot to say about this: seabs is a 5-6 dman now...his minutes have been reduced to 16 TOI...looks slow and done.

yes like the saad deal; needed a PF when hossa went down..he had a great start but not much since
