Would like to see a natural center between Debrincat and Hartman like Kampf or Kero. Both 10 and 38 are worthy of a healthy scratch IMO. Also think Vinny deserves a look if 10+38 keep scuffling. Bouma can sit for a night, Hayden can scrap if needed.

Can’t be the best if you take (in effect) 4 penalties in the period.

Hawks did have a nice edge in 5x5 play (SAT 16-11) and even on special teams (SAT 8-5).

He's heading in that direction. That line lacks possession and cycling presence.

Hartman needs to be back to the wing and a true centre (Kero maybe) to be able to get something going. A lot of one and done or Debrincat trying to do too much (which I can't blame him).

Highmore with 2 goals... Rockford up 2-0 right now vs. Iowa Wild in 2nd period.

hawks are playing better the last 2-3 games...but it would nice to start beating central division teams in 1-3-1; one OT win vs the preds

He was playing really well at the start of this one. Aaaaand, has had some really big gaffs that almost ended up in the back of the net.

I'm down to see him sit once and a while, but Q loves him. I know he's one of the favourite whipping boys around this year, but I think he can wreck havoc in the playoffs with some big hits. That's something he is really good at.

Totally agree !!

Did you notice that Toews did not see the ice for our last PP ?? Thank God....he's been mediocre at best again tonight. Now get Keith of the PP and we'll see more improvement....... ADB has been great all night...... he needs to be on the 1st PP unit from here on out. The kid sees the ice as good as anybody, including Kane..... and his passes are always tape to tape.

IMO, he's not a centre in the NHL.

He needs to be put in a position to succeed and they need to tweak that 3rd line. Minor issue with the lines as Lines 1, 2 & 4 are humming.

He's now playing with more confidence, almost too loosely (had a bad turnover in the 2nd) but looks like a top 4 the way he defends and shoots the puck.

How about his emergence on the PP. Keep an eye on that. He had 2 shots on that one PP in the 2nd; one off the post and the other was knee high to Vasilevskiy's glove.

With ya Bogie. Goes back to my thought that Stan needs to acquire a speedy 3rd line centre who can play solid defence. A Cedric Paquette style is who I'd like to see.

Is his contract guaranteed. I don't think you give up on this veteran yet. He has been out a lot with injuries last two seasons. Young kids at Rockford should stay there to develop, not play 4th line. Hinostroza should be on a third line, anyway. Tonight so far Highmore had both Icehog goals ....up to 8 goals
