hawks typically have not looked good on more than 2 days rest...but they look great...

Tampa seems content to just go for the cute little centering pass which the Hawks are intercepting and stealing most of the time.

Good first period. Hawks can win if they can play this way for two more. Agree totally with someone’s earlier post about Hayden learning to control his stick. The 4 minute minute could have been disasterous and had the potential to suck the momentum the Hawks were generating.

Can’t be the best if you take (in effect) 4 penalties in the period.

Hawks did have a nice edge in 5x5 play (SAT 16-11) and even on special teams (SAT 8-5).

Think they have to keep kane away from the point in the PP. That was almost a second shorty on him.

The 3rd line is a big time work in progress.

with this period one can see why the bolts have the record they do...they can get it going with speed and turning mistakes into high quality chances..
