What is Martel's positive's and attributes he brings? I really do not know much about him and really only have noticed him this season because of his hot start at LHV.
What round pick was he? - Buzzo
He scores goals. |

Let the kid make her own choices it's a part of growing up.
Next chant to teach her: No one likes us no one likes us no one likes us we don't care. We're from Philly frank (ing) Philly no one likes us we don't care! E a g l e s eagles! - Tfaehner
Well she does know to say "BOO!" when I ask her, "What do we say about the Rangers?" This also applies to the Devils, Yankess, Cowboys, and Ravens. If she wants to make the wrong decision and be an Eagles fan, I'm okay as long as she doesn't start doing E A G L E S chants at inappropriate times. Now, if she tried to become a Rangers fan, then there would honestly be an issue. |

From the Islanders blog:
Some lineup changes for the Islanders as Dennis Seidenberg and Scott Mayfield will replace Ryan Pulock and Thomas Hickey. I'm guessing Mayfield is in there because it's the Flyers and Weight think they are still the Broad Street Bullies. After missing the last two games, Cal Clutterbuck returns to the lineup. Alan Quine will sit.
So much for the Morin vs. Pulock debate being settled. (frank)ers. |

Yes...it is a known fact that goalies have a save percentage directly proportional to the amount of talent they have and in no way does the team they play for change that.
Blocking a goalie prospect? Give me a break - YuenglingJagr
So you are claiming the Flyers goalies have an inflated SV% compared to goalies like Bishop and Darling? If anything you could say the Flyers goalies' SV% are suffering due to a PK that's been poor since the start of 14-15.
And blocking a prospect with an awfully long contract like Bishop's is actually an issue when you have Lyon, Stolarz, Sandstrom and Hart in the pipeline. |

I don't have kids yet but my god daughter knows let's go flyers and when you say the flyers are on she starts jumping up and down and clapping. She's been to 25+ games already by her 2nd birthday. She also says cowboys stink. It's adorable. |

Is he a speedy forward? Is this season the first time he has been putting up the goal numbers? |

He was undrafted I believe but that may be due to his size. And he scores goals but also shoots a lot. I think one of the past two games the Phantoms had played he had something like 10 shots on net in one game . Definitely something I would welcome onto this team we don't have enough guys who are willing to just fire the puck |

We had a guy in our section when I had season tix that started taking his daughter when she was a baby. They'd just lay her in a seat and let her chill.
My daughter likes going to Flyers games, but that god damned horn scares the piss out of her. It is obnoxiously loud. |

This is his 4th season with LHV. He's scored 57 goals in 157 games. He's very small, I would think he's a good skater, but I'm not sure. Haven't seen him play. |

I think he's more shifty quick than straight line speed. That being said he's triple the speed of lehtera. His last 2 seasons are better indication of what he can be imo. He was a big time scorer in juniors as well. |

I recently found out that a 31-year-old guy that I work with is still a virgin. I was kind of shocked and wondering how that happens in this day and age. - jmatchett383

Let's hope he gives them a spark. Can't be worse than the slug he's going to replace. |

He's got speed. He is small but he plays a feisty game. Kind of like Konecny. He has a nose for the net. It will be interesting to see how he plays tonight. |

Didn’t Seidenberg break a long scoring draught vs the Flyers last year?
Playing the Flyers are a cure for slumping players and back up goalies. |

I was actually just looking at his bio this morning. Doesn't look like they've ever fought. Tanner Glass did whoop Mayfield's butt last year though. |

small, determined...he is a really cool dude that I will be rooting for. skates well and has skill. we will have to see if he is able to create space at this level. his hot start was driven by shooting percentage quite a bit, but he is certainly offensively talented |

Well, he is a Mormon (he hates when I say that about him), but even still, I think it's his appearance and general attitude more than anything. |
