Oh that second contract.
- manvanfan

Yeah, it's looking like the 6-8 million range already. Hopefully they lock him up for 8 years and buy some UFA years

he's got that wrist and snap shot that reminds me of burnaby joe.

(only comparing shot releases)

That pass to B.B. was the definition of ‘feather’. Very pretty goal on all levels.

I don't no if you are being sucked into the drama queen club or trying to lead it. Seriously this much rapture over neck and back stiffness. It sucks for the team and DD since he was doing so well. But this is a hockey issue more then a serious health issue. As in he's not medically cleared to play. Needs to see his specialists as is standard when symptoms occur post recovery of such a procedure. So the real concern for DD is over can he play or what needs to be done so he can.

Really accurate and fast release, for me as it reminds me of naslund one-timer as he didn't shoot as hard but very accurate like Boeser does. Goalies will get tape and see his shooting tendencies but the kid looks like the real deal. No hesitation.

Does anyone know why TG plays Markstrom or Nilsson? TG did mention about how each goalie would be better against different teams. What is it though?

not this game, as he's been relatively open on his goals, but he does really well to disguise his shot. not only does it come off his stick quickly but he's great at shooting through the defender in front of him. that's where i see similarities to sakic's shot.

They say its based on the style of team theyre playing against. Markstrom for the high flying, high shot number games because he is very actuve and likes to move a lot, and Nilsson for the slower, more defensive focused games because he is safer and steadier.

Interesting that marky is playing this one considering he did fairly well last time against the Pens

If Marky is getting the harder assignments then I would have thought Nilsson played today.

Makes sense, Markstrom is more agile.
