I made my 3-2 Penguins prediction before it was announced Malksey (Malker?) was out. Still, seems like a reasonable bet.

Crosby, Kessel x 2
Gaunce, Sutter

- 1970vintage

I had guessed 6-3 Pens, now that Malkin is out and Nilsson is in net. 3-2 for Van OT win.

Didn't Sutter take a puck to the inside of his thigh last night? That's got to slow him down a bit.

Gaunce is a frustrating player to watch. Not sure why he was taken in the first round based on what I see on the ice (so far).

Greener liked Goncers game, that’s good enough for me, and Suttsey has balls of steel, a rubber disk isn’t going to slow him down.

I could see Nilly with a 40+ save performance. SOG 42 Pit - 21 Van

How dare you! Gaunce led the team in shots last night.

My internet was down for several hours this morning, which set me back, but the new blog is now up.

Big win in Philly and setup for tonight, plus Dorsett...

Our last Calder candidate was Linden who lost out to Leetch.

I thought he lost to Modano?

Boeser ranks 1st in the NHL in points per 60 min and yet the article on nhl.com had all 18 analysts unanimously pick Keller as the leader in the calder race
- NorthNuck

lol Boeser is a Canuck...does that really surprise you?

Boeser has played 5 games less than Keller too.
