Who do you sit? Hutton has to play can't just sit him, but Pouliot has been better. Won't sit Edler or Zotto. One has to go. Guddy needs to be traded as he seems unlikely to sign with us, can't lose for nothing. i guess if you just trade guddy you can role with

If Guddy isn't signing before deadline then pull off a trade. But right now what's the point of it especially how weak Canucks are on the right side playing Biega regularly.

If there are no further injuries when Stecher is ready then TG can on merit rotate him in over the younger guys like Hutton and Pouliot. Isn't this better depth and balance for now:

It is not expected the Canucks will win enough games to make the playoffs so getting a lotto ticket will do just fine for picking top 3.

Though there is a difference this season that playing against any top team or going down by a couple goals doesn't mean they can't compete or even win.

Maybe but anytime another team panics or gets antsy to pull the trigger i say do it.

Unless EG fetches a ton we need his size & grit come any PO season. That leads me to Hutton up 1st then maybe Stecher on deck. All upcoming drafts we take high offensive type D til we get a stud. BPA is overrated for me unless a C & it opens up trading options. Until we have elite D prospects to go along with OJ i think we have enough forwards. Trade 1 D & our current depth can allow us to ride it out til new D prospects can develop.

This is exactly how the last two seasons have gone down. In December/January the wheels fall off. Will this tem run out of steam? Hard to say. Not riding the twins, but Boeser is bound to feel the schedule at some point. Maybe this is the year Bo can actually be productive in the second half of the season.
