My trade wish list:

Makar, Mittelstadt, Tippett
All very very unlikely.
- Makar is the future in AV’sville.
- Mittelstadt only if the Sabres get serious & fill their need for real D.
- Tippett only listed since the EG romance seems alive & well with Tallon & we cannot deal him back for cheap.
All the above r dreaming but depends on motivation of the other GM’s. I definitely can see us gaining picks at the TDL eg Vanek. Resulting in AHL call ups eg Goldy.

Summary: in the end garner more high picks next draft would be more likely. Fill the cupboard with more top end D or BPA if a no brainer. See no need for wingers.

That is a very interesting take on our depth.
I like it & maybe JB is shopping or putting out feelers for a deal. Possibly premature til another 15-20 games go by but the way we are playing could hold up any significant trades. PO push or not i like our resilience & we are better set up vs the past 2 seasons.

When I get back to Muscat, from the remote field location, they have EXTRA cold Heinekin on tap. Which is gross at home but it's probably the best thing they have here.

They actually have Budwiser in a bottle but it's just awful, tastes like watered down beer. But the locals love it.

No doubt but nobody presently in the system to help out. Lots of hope is pinned on OJ but we need to draft or trade for much more. League wide offensive D is in demand so idk if trading for them is realistic.

I think they should just continue to build through the draft as there's not enough organizational depth to be trading for a compete now player/mode.
