I pegged BB scoring 30 this season.
Looking good so far but see how he handles the long season is what will make or break it. |

Just got to the office and opened up the computer, Voracek with only one point
On a positive note, damn that Boeser kid looks to be the real deal, two shots, two goals. Also looks like the Sedins decided to help out today, a two line team is much better than a one line team |

Idk about that tbh. Playing the PP & top line minutes oughta be more than enough. |

Cam Talbot with a .333 Sv% tonight, sure glad I picked him second for my team thinking I got the goaltender with the most wins last year in the NHL |

Possible but a high first year. That would get him some serious Calder talk |

I think the Sedins are adapting to linemates more so than them adapting to them. Strange for JV him being with them but its a long season if he can get motivated on a much higher level. In the end he can develop his game & make noise if he uses his entire skill set. |

I'd love it, but I think that's a bit of a stretch, I say he flames out after the Christmas break. 82 games is a lot for someone who's used to playing only 40. |

He'll get some Calder consideration for sure, even with a 50 point season Keller has a big advantage on him right now because most of his points are at even strength whereas 42% of Boeser's are on the PP. (so far)
At least according to those that write about this stuff in the hockey news online and in the papers. |

I think Boeser has an advantage, less games played and playing a more meaningful roll for his teams success. Keller is just a shooter and will likely cool off, plus his teams suck with him getting 20+ mins a night every night and LOTS of PP time. Boeser does good on the assist category as well, not just a shooter. |

Just reading about Dorsett, hope he can get healthy, he underwent a significant surgery on his neck to try and alleviate the nerve damage he suffered.
His C5 and C6 vertebrae were fused, bone spurs were addressed and a building disc was removed and replaced by a plastic spacer and bone marrow from Dorsett’s hip.
That is not minor stuff! Apparently last season he kept losing the feelings in both his arms and each time it happened it took longer and longer for numbness to leave, pretty scary stuff when you can't lift you kids up to give em a kiss good night. |

Thats a good assumption but still a guess.
As long as Bo & Sven are clicking i’d say he will be ok. My issue is scoring tightens up league wide as the PO push starts. That will be an interesting time to gauge him by. |

Hey I hope he scores 50, just being honest with my opinion, which is, at best, a wild guess. |

A winning team gets a Calder hopeful more notice. That could be the defining factor. |

If my math is correct(it might not be) but Boeser is on pace for about 74 points this season. for him it is 19 pts in 18 games but the canucks have played 21 so far. if he plays every game this season his current pace is 74 pts. that would be the best rookie season for a canuck in...i dunno maybe Bure? |

Tell that to N4U. Apparently this is bad news cause its a trade chip off the table resulting in typical "canuckluck" |
