You let Russell walk and get someone better. You don’t buyout Pouliot based on a bad year. You don’t trade Eberle for sweet (frank) all.

The guy actually did really well the year after he was drafted in the KHL. Not sure what happened to him since. Although I heard he was kinda awkward and could take some time adjusting to the NHL

I'm amazed that they all went along with it and nobody cracked up laughing. I would have had to have called them all (frank)ing idiots right then and there. Like I said, I guess they just didn't rock the boat, and they wanted to stay on payroll as long as possible...

I remember the video of Francis starting his meetings with scouts last year. He straight up tells them that he hopes they don't use all of the picks they have, but that they're going to sit around for as long as it takes and make sure they get the list right.

Told them that if they disagree with something they should bring it up because they're paid to have opinions and if they aren't passionate about the work they've put in and the guys they've picked out then they shouldn't be in the room at all. If there aren't disagreements then they haven't been paying attention, basically.
