Players like him get overpaid every summer. He's making $3.5M minimum on at leats 4 years. If you want evidence of that, just look at what Hexy gave Weise, and then compare the two of them.

So do I and I think someone will pay him, so he's basically a rental. Was just a name I picked when someone asked if Edmonton had anything that we could use. Not saying we should trade Provorov and a 1st for him, stick him on the top line, expect 30 goals, and sign him long-term (which somebody seems to think I was implying).

How about a Weise for Maroon swap. that should work.

I'm curious to see how this lineup we have looks tonight, i'm optimistic our middle six can turn it around, just need to find the right mix of guys which has been the problem. Seem to have decent pieces that don't exactly fit together.

I thought they did look like they were pretty together in the first several games when everybody was healthy. Even if they get that back, I think the recent play shows they need another legit Top 9 forward.

the guy has 51 goals in 289 games or over 82 games 14.5 goals and 41 assists which averages out to 11.5. I wouldn't say he isn't good but to go 41 games without an assist is just absurd to me based on his past performance
