If the Flyers could hypothetically trade Gudas for Maroon straight up and then Simmonds and a 1st to lets say Toronto for Nylander would you do it ? - FreshFlyer
Remove the first and I can be persuaded.
On second thought, I may be willing to include the Blues first.

The value on those proposed deals are way off. Gudas is worth a lot more than Maroon, and Nylander isn't available.
I would love to but I doubt Toronto does the deal without the 1st involved unfortunately. If they do trade Simmonds that would be the type of player I'd hope they could acquire for him.

What's the story on hagg? How good is this kid? - Tumbleweed
Plays a very good positional game, is deceptively strong, and can hit like a truck. Won't put up staggering offensive numbers, but looks like a young Hjalmarsson clone.

It's like a regular umbrealla in use, but it folds "inside out" to make it easier to enter/exit vehicles and doorways (and it won't ruin your "Important Papers):

Maroon gets in more trouble than gudas does and is prone to terribly stupid minor penalties. One the games he played vs us in 2015 he had 3 or 4 minors in the span of 1 period. It was horrendous. That being said I wouldn't absolutely hate him on the team but he also reportedly wanted a raise to around 4.5-5 a year. Yikes.
Rnh is imo extremely over rated because of his draft position. He would benefit the team immediately but long term it's another high cap hit and he would be blocking another young player.
I do believe at some point we will move a young defenseman. But it will be for a major need and a huge return I expect. I don't see any of those things on Edmonton except for drasailt and mcdavid

In regards to Simmonds, if he has a down year, does that possibly improve his chances of staying with the Flyers?
The Flyers have signed some players to long-term deals one year before UFA on career years (Hartnell and Voracek). If Simmonds has a down year, could they maybe lock him up to a smaller deal, both term and hit wise? Instead of a long-term $6.5M deal as a 30-goal scorer, maybe they could add him to a $5M 3-year deal banking on a short-term return to form? Thoughts?
My hope would be maybe MacDonald could have some of that calming influence on Sanheim like with Provorov and let Sanheim be a little more aggressive. - J35Bacher
Those are what I hope Hak and Murphy roll out after AMac returns.

Yeah, the fact that he's a UFA coming off of his Edmonton success is scary. And the thing is, someone will probably pay him what he wants.
I have a friend who's a RNH fan and said that he's much better as a 2C or a really good 3C than as the main man. But with Coots/G/Patrick, I don't think that's a need we really have.
I'd be willing to take a shot on Puljujarvi, but wouldn't give what Edmonton would likely want.

A bad season would definitely help negotiations but everyone knows what he is when healthy. I would say it's either term to control cost or high cost to make up for lack of term. I still think it's Jake or Simmonds long term eventually one will be moved with the kids back filling

I have a hard time seeing him taking any deal less then what Backes or Ladd got last year.
lol! I love how they make the current umbrella seem so unwieldy. It's so awful the old codger can't maintain his balance or even close a car door properly. smh
Can it core a apple?
No thanks, I'll stick with the old fashioned kind.
Were I a STH I'd tell them I'd rather they knock $25 off the cost of my tickets and they can keep the umbrella.
Also, please tell me that the gift umbrella is orange and black.
